Love this amazing gem. As soon as we arrived we just felt so much peace. We loved cooking outdoors and sitting by the fire. The lovely host went above and beyond for me, replying to messages, being so helpful, went the extra mile for me. You have the most beautiful getaway experience, just what couples need. We will definitely be back. Tips for future customers Breakfast crate you can order. AMAZING Fire wood for £5 We took our own portable BBQ - and loved cooking on it. We absolutely loved our stay here. The house, which is situated on three floors has a delightful and homely atmosphere .It had everything we could need and more. There was a welcome tray in each bedroom which included tea, coffee, herbal tea and hot chocolate. It was gorgeous. We would visit again in a heartbeat

The Y-Star is well located for travelers on the Glyndwr’s Way, and Richard and Nadine are excellent hosts. They proactively communicated with me the whole time. They have done a lot as the new owners to make this a great stay. Great internet, good food, comfortable rooms with excellent bathrooms.

    Beautiful, well equipped cottage with a very homely feel. Oozing history but with modern fittings (including a great bathroom) which make it a very practical place to stay. Great to have off-street parking.
