Just an absolute 10/10 accomidation. Cozy little cabin in the woods about 20-30 minutes outside Egilsstaðir. The have everything you could possible need for a wonderful stay. We had dimm and rainy weather so we lit up the fireplace for a warm and cozy evening. Falling to sleep in the upper room with rain falling on the roof was delightful. If you are having second thoughts about booking this accomidation - go for it! You will not regret it.

The key was waiting for us, so self check in was easy! The room was clean, spacious, had a great coffee machine and coffee, a nicely outfitted kitchenette, comfy beds and a small patio with table and chairs and a fresh potted flower!

The property was easy to find, and is very well located for day trips around Egilsstaðir. The house was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. There was a washing machine as well, which was very handy. The beds were comfortable. The area was very quiet, a bit outside of Egilsstaðir, but very quick to drive there. From the open area where the cottages are, there is a short path to a jacuzzi (which was spotless) and there is also a sauna. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Decent value given the location - in Egilsstadir. The beds were comfy. You have to be creative in rooms for your luggage and belongings since there is no space or closets. (We lucked out with a room with 6 beds so we used an empty bed for all of our luggage and etc. Not sure where we could have put our stuff otherwise...) \ The shared showers, toilets and kitchen were clean enough for a one-night stay. Check-in was easy.

    Great location - the bus to Seyðisfjörður stops right in their parking lot, if you're taking the ferry to Faroe Islands/Denmark. Nice facilities, comfortable beds.

    + lovely neat rooms with bed, coffee table, chairs, desk, room for suitcases + wonderful welcoming staff who even remembered us from the year beforehand + free parking right outside + beautiful view of the lake + close to Vök Baths (highly recommended!) + delicious generous breakfast + great dinner too, try the lamb!

    The check-in was seamless and we got a very spacious room. The bed was very comfortable & there were definitely sufficient showers for the number of guests. The kitchen was well equipped & clean. The Hostel comes with a very big parking lot, I can only recommend staying here.

    We are group of family (6 people) and booked 2 triple rooms which they managed the room to be closed as requested. The triple rooms have 2 levels (2 beds on the first floor and the other one on the second floor) which is really lovely. There are big windows to see the view which is different between first and second floor. The view from the room is beautiful. There are a lot of parking lot available, and we can temporarily park near the building to bring our luggages down first. The checkin and checkout process is easy.

    Beautiful location outside if town. Clean and very quiet place. Great view from the property and our room! They marked a beautiful walking path on the property that had waterfalls on it. Delicious breakfast, they had fresh homemade bread and cake, my children said it was the best breakfast in our Iceland’s trip. 24 hours coffee and tea free of charge. Free parking.
