Easily the best place we stayed during our 10 day trip to Iceland. Walk through a meadow to the beach. Watch horses through the kitchen window. Very quiet and peaceful. A great place to stay and explore the south coast.

Keyless entries and communication were great. Compared to other guest houses, it was quite clean. Since we were the first guests to check in, the bathroom and shower were spotless. However, as more people arrived, they left the place quite dirty. Perhaps they should schedule a few rounds of cleaning.

    Breakfast was a delicious spread with many options. Bed was extremely comfortable! Great location, easy to find, comprehensive check in instructions, loved the communal areas with amenities, plenty of parking. Was very clean and overall very comfortable!

    Very nice breakfast with lot of special dietary options (plant based milk, lactose free cheeses, etc.) Easy check in, we received wrong passcode for the entry and staff was very responsive even though it was 1am. Nice free parking

    Laura was pleasant at the front desk. The room was fine-comfortable bed, lots of room to spread out. The best thing about this hotel is the location. You are a five minute walk to Skogafoss, but we felt it was very overpriced. The hotel itself is standard, nothing extravagant. The restaurant had very good food and was reasonably priced. The servers were very kind and professional. The free parking was also a nice perk. We did not have a view of the falls, but it was still very expensive. I guess you pay for the location.

    Great location (100m to the parking lot for Skogarfoss and the hiking route to Basar). Everything functional and has a cute automatic coffee machine that everyone can use all the time. The restaurant attached offers nice local cuisine.
