I liked everything! It is a really beautiful place very clean and quiet.Thank you Denis for all your tips about what to visit.God bless you all!
Pictures don’t do it justice—absolutely stunning views! The place is very close to town, spotless, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was perfect, and the coffee was the best we’ve had so far. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
The room was just beautiful and so clean. The owner went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Great location in the Old City. Close to bars and restaurants.
Location was perfect for our family wedding in Trevi. We stayed 4 nights and Sandra was very helpful. Room was terrific and comfortable and pool was a bonus!
Exceptional. Everything that makes Italy so worth travelling. Hotel and restaurant, separated by about 50-75m, are family owned. Marco, the proprietor, could not be kinder and more welcoming. Accommodations are absolutely classic. Basic but large space, tile and wood, antique, impeccably clean. The restaurant on the main plaza were my best meals in Umbria, and 30-40% less than Assisi. Next time, with a car, I would base myself here, off the peak tourist trail, but with easy access to everything. A stunningly beautiful small hilltop town, with great walks. Look forward to my return 🙏🏼
Our time in Setterhouse was a fantastic getaway from the stress and hub bub of city life. It has all of the ammenities and welcome of a typical bed and breakfast, with all of the warmth and affability of a country home. The owners of the property were exceptionally hospitable and kind; it may sound cliché, but they literally welcomed us like family! (I found myself getting sad when it was time to leave) The property has a great view of the valley, it's especially beautiful at sunset with the sun setting behind the mountains across the way. The food served at Setterhouse was yummy and fresh, the panna cotta with caramel sauce was particularly delightful. The location is also very good, you can walk from the property to the ancient city of Trevi in about 10 minutes. And of course, we had the singular pleasure of being surrounded by tons of dogs. Most of these furry friends were very sweet and sociable, they really enjoyed being petted and loved on. In fact, the first day I was sitting on some steps and one of the dogs, Emma, crawled into my lap and we cuddled for probably 30 minutes, she was so precious. Some of the dogs were more standoffish, but they did warm up to us throughout the week. If you're in this part of Italy and you love dogs, this place is an easy choice. Come and stay here!
This place was so nice, the staff were great. Breakfast was delicious, nice clean pool and amazing views. The town is great, it really feels nice to be removed from everything in this peaceful charming little town. The value is incredible. We travelled from California for a getaway Wedding and are so happy we found this charming location nearby.
Breakfast was excellent, location was perfect, right off the main piazza, building and decor was beautiful, staff was helpful, accommodating and great with our children
Eduardo was a great host. He was kind and personable. He showed us around and gave us recommendations for dinner. Our room was large, offering plenty of space and the shower was hot. We had a view of the old town from our window.
What a little gem! Nestled among an olive grove, this charming place exceeded all our expectations. The view from the property is simply breathtaking, especially at sunset. The hosts were attentive and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The comfortable bed and overall ambiance made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Everything was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail really showed. We loved spending time in the beautiful garden, which was peaceful and perfectly maintained. The proximity to the historical town of Trevi was ideal—just a short drive away—and we also appreciated how close it was to other historical towns in the region, making it a perfect base for sightseeing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tranquility, beauty, and warm hospitality in Umbria!
The host was really sweet. The breakfast was amazing - a wide array of freshly baked goods, cereal components to make your own mix and fresh cappuccino made to order. It was my best stay in 10 days of hiking the Via di Francesco.
Great value for money. The rooms are basic, it’s an old Italian house, but very clean and comfortable, have AC and a good shower. The host extremely friendly and offers water and snacks all day long out of hospitality. He refuses to charge for it.
Casco Dell’Acqua is well located in Umbria, with easy access to many tourist sites. We were there during the hottest days of summer and their pool was a welcome, refreshing activity. Our hosts, Clara and Luigi, were both kind and helpful. Their apartments were spacious, comfortable, well supplied and spotlessly clean. Their breakfast option was delicious and had a wonderful selection of cakes, fruit, cold cuts and cheeses. We would return without any hesitation.
The view! Also the owner is the sweetest person! The house was owned by his grandfather and then he made a motel of it, and he treats is like every guest is family!
It was a lovely place. The host was super welcoming. The house is a historical piece so it feels very unique to stay there.
Wow...priceless view. The team is fun, kind, and attentive. The bed & linens were comfortable and breakfast was good. We were able to do some cooking in our charming kitchen with ample kitchen supplies. Location is convenient to many desirable things located in the area.
Gabriela was welcoming and very nice. She took care of my every request.
Room was simply decorated but large. Bathroom was modern and good water pressure. Breakfast was great. The restaurant on site was delicious, I ended up eating there each night and the food was fresh and delicious. Giuseppe and his family made me feel so welcome and I loved my stay.
Kind and friendly staff. We loved the antique building. Excellent facility with a picturesque landscape. Great selection of breakfast. Enjoyed every moment of our stay.
Awesome hotel, excellent location, adorable view. The hotel staff from the reception to the restaurant to the housekeepers is perfect. Anything I asked for I get it ASAP. The owner Francisco and his mother is a leader not a boss and all his staff is like a family. Thanks to the whole QUERCETTA family starting from the reception Giorgia,Jacomo, Eleonora & Martina. The Chefs Giovanni, Lorenzo & Elisabetta. I try all the menu plus the Chef was making always a surprise dishes and all what I can say WOWWWWW. The dining Service Claurinda, Juliano, Julia, Suella, Luna, Michela, Bruna, Olympia & specially Tania. Special thanks & big hug to Claurinda & Giorgia. From Montreal, Canada. What a gem! Apartment was beautiful, exceptionally clean, everything you could possibly need was provided and the owner’s mother made dinner for us. We highly recommend!
