Hotels with Parking in Atawa

It’s very close to the beach. The room was great . A large bed size.

The host was extremely impressive in all aspects of my stay. She guided me to the best places around Kumano Kodo and Mihama/Shingu. She is very knowledgeable and kind. The living area is big, very clean and well equipped to cook meals. I traveled around Japan and stayed at six different places and Kaoru’s accommodation was ichiban, number one! She and her family, as well as the location, are priceless. I will return to stay every time I visit Japan!

We loved our stay here ! the decor was so beautiful and the place was very clean. The house was also very spacious and felt homely. Would definitely stay here again it is very good value for money.

Location was great for me walking the Iseji Route of the Kumano Kodo...right next to trail. Very clean, nice bath. Had some supplies so I could season my food and didn't have to buy oil or spices. Very appreciated.

Very comfortable and lots of convenient amenities.

The woman hosting the property was super kind and informative - she set the tone for a great stay. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood, and Shingu is easily walkable. We loved the well-maintained feel of the traditional home.

Close to Xu Fu Memorial. The amount of space in the room is really good. The interior looks really nice.

Lovely stay in a traditional Japanese house. The location is very convenient to visit the area. We slept comfortably and the host was very sweet. The common area was also pleasant! We came by car and they provided parking. Overall highly recommend!

Extremely clean and tidy, washing machine provided, kitchen facilities, zero distance to Hayatama Taisha, great shower facility.

Great place, old renovated guesthouse, very pleasing to the eye. Very polite staff. The Japanese style room was fantastic. The rooms are well heated. Washing machine with dryer.

The staff members are very helpful. The location is great with a lovely neighborhood behind it. We enjoyed our time there.

The facilities were great - very clean & well kept. Shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Good kitchen and other amenities as listed. The host is amazing! I hurt my knee and needed help getting transportation into town. When he couldn't find us a taxi, he took us into town himself.

Super clean and modern, all needed amenities, free parking (even though it’s limited), nice restaurants and shops nearby. Futons were comfy. General attention to details.

Everything, especially the friendly owner

-The owner is a monk who is super hospitable and friendly. He prepared lots of paper information about walking map and gourmet map for Shingu which helps a lot. -Guest could ask for Shodo (Japanese calligraphy) for free. After finished, it’s guest’s choice leaving Shodo in the temple or bringing it home. - It’s opening in Jan this year which is a new and clean hotel. I book one room and I have my own kitchen, toilet and shower. The beverage is all free they provides including water, tea, sake, soju and so on. - in the morning. Owner introduces temple’s history and details about the gods they worship. The temple was built up in Edo period and is well preserved which is incredible. - it’s only 10times walking from Shingu station which is not far away. Nearby are few local restaurants.

I love how it gives the real experience on what it’s like staying in Japanese style home in the quiet peaceful countryside. The Staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate and responsive. they’re good people.

The room is clean, the location is excellent and the breakfast is great. Most of all, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice owner. Very clean. Decent price.

Booked a family room although i am solo travelling due to availability, the room far exceeded my expectations, very spacious, comfortable and clean, cozy sofa with tv on youtube, more than enough amenities to suit your needs, provides free wine and sake with snacks (i did not drink any though) which is a huge plus, slight walk of around 15 minutes from Shingu station, price is very acceptable for what i experienced
