We loved everything about our stay at Temari Inn Yukikai and only wish we could have stayed longer. From the accommodations, to the amenities, to the staff and the location, everything was just perfect. We fell in love with Kurashiki and plan to return for another visit as soon as possible. This is very great vaule to stay, large living space, good location between Kurashiki central 倉敷美觀地區 and 瀨戶大橋/鷲羽山展望台. About 30~40 minutes drive from Okayama airport. There is park and science center around house area, easy to access. The house owner is very nice and helpful, friendly to kids. This is old building over 100 years, very carefully maintained by owner, in good condition. Be well prepared if you are very sensitive to fine dust and antique furniture.

The property was so unique, and a highlight of the trip to Japan. Every detail was considered, from the option to have dinner and breakfast included, a well stocked kitchen, blankets, beautiful soaps and an included in stay shop and heritage overview space on an upper floor for the brand that owns the space. Beautiful! I highly recommend staying it, such a unique experience! As an fyi, we were there in second half of December and it was a bit chilly (the property has been renovated but it is an older building), so I recommend if staying in the winter bring some layers. The other fyi, is that I am 6ft tall, and my brother is around 6ft 5inches and due to low ceiling heights (again it is a older renovated beautiful space) we spent a large amount of time bent over going through doorways. All worth it for staying here though! Not critiques about the property, just sharing as fyi if staying here.

    Location was absolutely perfect 👌 The staff were super helpful as we booked in a last minute and had to find parking for our rental car. The lady from reception (her English was excellent) came out and showed me where to park and get an overnight pay ticket. Also that's free ice cream / juice / probiotic drink and washing machines is available for free to all guests. The room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended 🤩

    Very cosy apartment. The instructions were clear, the host was very responsive and accommodating. For those travelling by car: there is also a parking spot (paid). The location is 10 minutes away from the center, which provides restaurants, izakayas and karaoke bars.

    The hotel closes to Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, just a few minutes walk. The car park is a machine operated multi storey building and parking is fine. The room is tiny but clean and functional. The breakfast is nice that they offered a cook dish together with a small scale buffet. The viewing lounge is open for guest at night time, there are many guests sitting there to see the city view at night, quite a good relaxing area. Overall this is a value for money choice.

    Everything!!! This was by far my best hotel in Japan, and I've been on the road for 6 weeks in a rental car , done some hotels, exallent value for money , excellent!! Microwave in room, fridge, spa bath, everything and yes it's a kove hotel but it's still a hotel, free car parking to, best hotel ever..it's huge inside to..value for money, way better than all the business hotels I've done for more money!! And it's perfect for couples, I'm solo and it's fine to come here solo!
