From the staff member meeting us at the door, to the AMAZING ROOM! The bed and pillows were comfortable. The balcony open air tub was a dream! The view was spectacular. The dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious! There is a stand with so many snacks that you can take back to your room! Including ice cream. The second one had several smaller pools. Both were very nice. Men and women's sections were separate with equal facilities. We enjoyed the extensive buffet for both breakfast and dinner. There are many restaurants nearby so you definitely don't have to worry about food. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and even when we were still at the carpark, he dashed out to direct us to the available parking lot every time we drove in. The room is also big and spacious, and it has the Japanese element to it, which I truly like, and breakfast spread was good too! The location is good with easy access to ski areas (both working and abandoned:), the Nasu highlands were within an hour's drive and Kinugawa onsen was even closer.
