Room service is at top notch. We arrived the room at midnight. Host Ashan gave a warm welcome and took care of our needs when we arrived. Booked a Tuk Tuk for a reasonable amount in the early morning. He even woke up early morning and made sure we had a pleasant stay. Approx 2 kms from airport. Room has enough space and great flow of water. Hot water and wifi is also available. Give Ashan a great bonus if he is a employee of the hotel. If he is the owner, wonderful owner.

Very good accommodation close to Colombo airport. Honestly, the best, most comfortable out of all others that we stayed at on Sri Lanka, even though substantially more expensive. Everything felt fresh and clean, and the bathroom was modern and very convenient, which is honestly rare in Sri Lanka. You can get a good quality a shower zone separated from the toilet:) Excellent value for money. The host is extremely friendly, nice and welcoming. He customized breakfast for us as we asked, including low-fat yogurt, which was a very nice touch. Cozy, clean, and comfortable stay. Would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

Can’t recommend this place enough. One of the cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in during my time in Sri Lanka, with strong AC and great facilities overall. Hosts were also SO nice, they helped me get to my very late flight and also went to pick up food for me when PickMe was not working. Got the private room and was such an awesome deal. Stay here for airport transit!!!

This is a place I'd describe as soul-restoring. We booked it by chance while waiting for a flight back home due to the situation in the Middle East. We loved it so much that we did not leave the property for the entire stay. The small number of rooms offers a very intimate experience. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Ours was in front of the section facing the outdoors, with sofas and bean bags to relax on, as well as being a few steps from the garden and pool. There's also a beach in front of the property, not suitable for swimming but perfect for long walks. The staff is there to assist you and help you enjoy your days to the fullest, smiling and kind as ever. The kitchen is always open, and Silvester, the chef, will delight you with cuisine that blends Sri Lankan flavors with an international twist. The sunset you'll see from there will take your breath away, making it even harder to leave. They only opened a few months ago, but if this is their standard, I see nothing but success for them. A true gem, a little paradise on a wonderful and breathtaking island! Highly Recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Taprobana Transit Hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Communication was excellent from start to finish, with quick responses and helpful assistance throughout my stay. One of the best conveniences was the free airport pick-up and drop-off service, which made travelling so much easier and stress-free. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality near the airport!
