We have been to many places, but this was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The place is very calm, peaceful and private. Communication was excellent from the beginning. Everything was done through WhatsApp and they always kept us updated. They even messaged us to let us know the pool was ready, dinner was served and asked if everything was okay. That small attention to detail made us feel really cared for. The food was truly exceptional. The porridge and breakfast were so good. Every single staff member was very friendly, from the security uncle to the aunty and uncle who prepared our food, and the manager of the property. They all made us feel very welcome like home. It is a beautiful place near Galle and perfect if you want to relax and enjoy some quiet time. We are already planning to come back again with our whole family. Highly recommended 100 stars.

I had a wonderful time here. The food is super fresh and tasty, the staff are incredibly knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and are happy to share it with you. The views over the paddy fields are breathtaking and I loved the peaceful atmosphere of it all, and still you're just a tuktuk drive away from the next beach and the city of Galle. Thank you, I hope to be back another time!

You know those two guys you see on You Tube who dig underground swimming pools with slides in a jungle clearing using only two sticks? This is the place they are making! Kids loved it! We got a free upgrade to an awesome room with its own jacuzzi plus Galle us only a short ride away fir sightseeing and eating.

New architectural marvel in a serene and private setting at the edge of a tropical jungle with the infinity pool overlooking an expansive natural paddy. The experience at Villa Samas was life changing for us not only due to the setting but mostly thanks to the sincerely gracious and kind hospitality of our exceptional host who lives on the ground level. The best of Sri Lankan family culture is generously offered here combined with an impeccable attention to detail and service. Sparkling clean inside and out. Location was close and convenient yet felt far away. Fully equipped kitchen allowing for home cooked meals or there are plenty of takeaway/delivery food options nearby. The delicious and generous breakfast is prepared downstairs and then lovingly served in your private kitchen with stunning jungle views-do not miss this experience! Also many excellent western style gourmet restaurants only 20 minutes drive to Galle Fort. AC works perfectly in both bedrooms each with its own terrace and nice views. Abundant tropical wildlife on display daily including wild peacocks, monkeys, parrots and birds of every description.
