I really enjoyed this property. To me, it felt like the last unspoiled oasis before heading west on the south coast. Viren and the staff were some of the kindest folks you'll ever meet. Viren himself was a pleasure to talk to on many subjects and insights to Sri Lankan culture, which for me, was so enjoyable. The bungalow was simple, yet clean with a very comfortable bed with with a functional mosquito net. I never once wanted to turn on the AC the 5 days I was there as the ocean breeze at night and shade of the coconut grove during the day was perfect comfort for me. Breakfast was fantastic and different everyday with base fruit and yogurt as a start. I didn't have a chance to eat dinner, simply because I was already ready for sleep when dinner was served and would eat late afternoon "dinners" at once of the great restaurants nearby. This property really is a special corner in the world and I know Viren has some improvements scheduled for the future. I look forward to a return someday to see them. We loved staying here! Beautiful property, very clean room with a big, comfortable bed. Our host family was wonderful and we enjoyed AMAZING home cooked meals. Everything was perfect.

The location on a pond is nice with big trees for shade. The food was good and the staff friendly and helpful in arranging a bird watching tour.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Tanderra in Sri Lanka, which was an amazing experience. We were a party of 6 all female friends. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, we were captivated by the sheer beauty and tranquility that surrounded us. The rooms were spacious, bright, and well maintained. Each bedroom was comfortable, featuring plush beds, high-quality linens, and 3 had breathtaking views of the ocean. The en-suite bathrooms were fitted with luxurious fixtures, rain showers, and quality products. One of the highlights of this villa was its indoor / outdoor living spaces. The expansive dining table was perfect for long lunches. It overlooked the pool at one side and the garden on the other. Really felt that it was inside outside living. The staff at the villa were exceptional in every way. They were warm, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. From the moment we arrived, we received a personalized service that left a lasting impression. The private chef, Santha, prepared delectable meals, showcasing the finest flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine, and the attentive housekeeping staff Sampath and Darshana ensured that the villa was always in pristine condition. In conclusion, our stay at this amazing villa in Sri Lanka was nothing short of magical. It exceeded all our expectations in terms of luxury, beauty, and hospitality. If you're looking for a truly extraordinary experience amidst a tropical paradise, I wholeheartedly recommend this villa. An incredible boutique hotel with a spectacular location!! The staff were so nice and welcoming ! It was like staying in a private villa and the views from the Sea View room was spectacular! Would definitely come back and recommend it.

Beautiful views, spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent food, and exceptional hospitality. The pool was perfect for our son, and the peaceful atmosphere and beach access made the stay even more enjoyable. Dominic and his team were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay.

The place was super clean and the caretaker was so helpful and nice. We stayed there for two nights and it was comfortable and simply amazing.

Definitely a true gem from our Sri Lanka trip. The location is so beautiful and relaxing which makes it special and magical. Few steps in front of the house has long beach you can walk many kilometers just enjoying the nature. Everyone who works there is very kind. We also had a massage which we can really recommend. The room was beautiful, modern and clean and nicely decorated! Colors and ambient lights bring up the mood. The hospitality and the food were wonderful . The owner himself is involved with everything and food is exceptional. We would like to thank the whole team for their brilliant service and hope to see them again soon! It was an unforgettable stay!

We initially planned for a one-night stay, but extended it to 3 days, making this place the highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. The food, crafted by the owner, an exceptional chef, was outstanding, with a new daily menu based on the freshest market ingredients. Access to a pristine beach, often all to ourselves, offered unforgettable views. Comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and the AC provided a reprieve from the heat. Generous hosts Thibal, Tatiana, and Charlotte catered to our needs, offering fresh fruit plates and complimentary drinks throughout our stay.

Absolutely stunning property and beach. I was so happy I chose a quieter spot with empty sand beach as far as the eye can see. Every single aspect of the property and service surpassed my expectations. I would not return to Sri Lanka without staying here again.

Spacious rooms, easy access to beautiful sandy beach and helpful staff

We really enjoyed our staying at this villa. It was clean and cozy. An ideal place for privacy. The beach was empty for kilometers in both directions. We felt like we were on a desert island. The owner was very helpful and quickly resolved all our questions. Hope to visit this beautiful place again 🤍

The staff were so lovely and attentive. The location was great to get away from it all, and the beach was quiet. A lovely villa, garden and pool and extremely well kept. The staff couldn’t do more for us, including Umesh who stayed over to make sure we got our taxi to the Whale watching trip at 4am!

What a fabulous stay. Beautiful, clean, modern room, serene places to hang out, proximity to a quiet beach and lagoon. We wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were wonderful, their 3 dogs were very cute. Don't miss the food, it is great and cooked by a chef. They also offer affordable and professional massages and cooking demos.

Beautiful location right by the beach, peaceful surroundings, and very friendly staff. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the beach and the quiet atmosphere of the resort.

The whole premises was absolutely stunning. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The pool is beautiful, and although the ocean was too dangerous to swim when we were there, the beach access is great to have . Our room had a view of the jungle and the ocean and had its own jacuzzi! A very special place, would definitely recommend to stay here!

Great if you want to stay in a quiet location right on the beach. Rooms are very comfortable, you can hear the sea waves. Hotel restaurant is ok - mostly western options.

A boutique hotel with excellent, friendly, helpful service. Direct access to a clean beach. Pleasant swimming pool. So nice we stayed an extra day, just chilling.
