Wow! This guesthouse exceeded all our expectations. From the seamless check-in process to its prime location, everything was top-notch. The safari tour they organized to Yalla Park was the highlight of our trip, allowing us to see the park's main animals up close. The rooms, while simple, were impeccably clean and equipped with everything we needed, including hot showers and air conditioning. The lush green surroundings showcased the care and attention to detail put into beautifying the property. We opted for take-away dinner one evening and found ourselves so comfortable and content that we didn't want to leave. Highly recommend these guys for an unforgettable stay!

Clean and very spacious rooms. Stunning view towards the rice paddies and lake. Lovely pool to refresh and relax. The host family could not be more welcoming, they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Dinner and breakfast were very, very delicious!! We would have loved to stay much longer. Thank you everyone for being so kind to us, we'll come back some day. Also you can back your Safari here. The host Janaka organizes the trips himself and has the best drivers. We saw 2 Leopards with his diver Damith and were very happy with how he guided us through the Safari!

Words cannot really express how kind and accommodating Nalin and his family were. They did so much beyond expectations to make our stay perfect. We had to stay an extra day due to sickness and from getting medication from the pharmacy, arranging everything we needed no matter what and just generally being very interesting and keen to learn about other cultures in a completely comfortable and non intrusive manner it was superb. Been to Sri Lanka many times and mat so many kind Sri Lankans but Nalin clearly stands out. The rooms were spotless, no smell of damp (which can happen due to humidity in some places), we had the room of AC which was lovely, but a family member had a non ac room which was comfortable with the fans provided. Food was superb and they will arrange ahead of any dietary requirements. It was an honour to stay there and have the please of such good hospitality. I can see why this is 10/10 and 5* on Google! Also ask ahead about Safari and what animals you want to see and the type of trip you want because Yalla can be quite hectic and Nalin will help a lot. We arranged a tour beforehand which was good but it would have been better to have had some local knowledge prior to this as the Safari was quite hectic.

The room was very clean, and the host's hospitality was incredible—super friendly and attentive. She arranged a tour for us for 18,000 LKR, offered us tea in the morning before we left, and kindly assisted and guided us to our next destination. Without a doubt, highly recommended! The bathroom was also clean, and the room was spotless.

ı love the hotel! staffs are amazing, kind, helpful, friendly. Meals were delicious, room is clean. I recommend the place for everybody who loves nature. I am highly recommend this place. Rooms are clean and quite new. Location is perfect. It is just next to lake, so you feel you are in the miracle. And hotel owner Randy and his family hospitality is 100 points. They are too kind, helpful and cheerful. You don’t need to look any other hotel. Just come here and stay!

    Firstly I'd like to say that the room, hotel, grounds and surrounding area are lovely. The room is huge, nicely decorated and blooming lovely. The rest of the hotel has a very warm, welcoming and cosy feel to it. I wasn't able to try the hotels breakfast as I left early the next day for the safari that the hotel had organised for me. There's parking, aircon in the rooms. But it's safe to say that the pictures don't do the place justice.
