Easy walk from bus station. Supermarket just around the corner. Access instructions arrived by text message at the right time, and were clear. Room and especially bathroom were perfectly clean. Excellent location for seeing the town. The owner was so helpful in arranging a driver for the day, to visit the tiny nearby village where my family lived, from 1796 - September 1941.

We stayed in Lithuania for three weeks, mainly in apartments and hotels. So it was refreshing to find this beautiful homestay. We were welcomed into the host’s home as if we were family. Our children loved playing with their dogs and were amazed by all the birds and rabbits they keep. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We were welcomed with tea and cake. Breakfast can also be requested. Dinner was not on offer while we were there but there is a fantastic restaurant nearby belonging to the Vilkenta winery.
