The host genuinely cared about the area and people he serves. He gave me perfect direction to get to the hostel by shuttle bus. He gave me recommendation for restaurants even though he has dining service. There was a huge amount of fresh food for breakfast. He likes the slow food movement. His location is perfect to start hiking on the High Scardus Trail. I will go back and stay there again when I have a chance.

It is always difficult to leave a negative review, especially because the staff were excellent. If I were rating the staff alone, I would give them 10/10. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the rest of the experience.
