The location to go to Canyon del Colca, and to the Cruz del Condor. The atmosphere of the lodge, the cheminey. The service from the staff. We forgot one bag, the staff has been very efficient in getting our bag back to Arequipa and shipped on time to Cusco. Incredible service.

Probably one of the best places I have stayed ever. Right next to the canyon and completely away from the awful tourist viewpoints. You can sit and enjoy your coffee as condors swirl around you. Food was really good too. I would definitely recommend making the extra effort to go to La Granja. I took the public bus and it was reasonably simple. It is a complete paradise.

Homestay Pachamama features rooms in Cabanaconde. It offers free Wifi, a terrace, a bar, and a restaurant. The accommodation provides a tour desk and currency exchange for guests.

Excellent rooms, clean, helpful staff. Condor viewpoint tour was worthwhile, arrived before many of the buses from Arequipa. Gave very clear instructions and map for hiking in the canyon. Helped arrange transport back. Good food - recommend the kallimarka pizza.

Posada Gloria is located in Tapay and features a garden. The hostel provides city views, a terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property.

It's conveniently located if you prefer to explore Colca from less touristy side (Mirador de San Miguel). Hotel looked better than I expected, comfy bed, plenty of blankets for the cold night. It was a good value for money. Village is a bit sketchy but I assume you don't go to Peru for glamour

Attention to all details by Edwin and his staff were the highlight of the place. Rooms were basic, but cozy and impeccably clean. Hot water and tea available all day long at the reception. Wifi good. Shower good. And the comforters on the bedding very warm. Hotel was a short block away from the central "Plaza de Armas" where there are a few stores and restaurants. And for us, most importantly, there was a car park which Edwin made available while we did our overnight hike to Sangalle. A+ service across the board.

Boasting a wide range of spa services, access to thermal baths and 3 gourmet dining options, the resort offers garden views from every room, a 3 hour-drive from Arequipa. Private parking is free.

Very peaceful location in a beautiful landscape. Safe and convenient parking. The restaurant is good, reasonably cheap and always open. The manager was very attentive and helpful. Very good breakfast. It's a very good base to visit the Colca Canyon. If you do not drive your own car, the manager can arrange several tours for you.

Terra Alta Lodge has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Yanque. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. At the hotel, rooms include a patio with a garden view.
