Incredible people that would organize so much for you. Very good food, transportation and they also arranged for us to join an island tour. The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

It’s an extremely beautiful hotel, a very nice place to stay and enjoy lake Titicaca. The owner of this hotel and his family are very nice and helpful. Although it is chilly outside, they keep us comfortable inside. They also assist to arrange transportation for us.

First off, what a magical experience this stay was from the people to the views to the room! Walter and his family really made this stay so special, they are the kindest people ever! From the moment we arrived they treated us with such care and love, Walter’s dad picked us up and dropped us off at the port, Walter took us on a private tour of the Uros Island in the traditional boats, his mom cooked the most wholesome dinner and breakfast for us, his mom also showed us her handmade artesiana, which were all so beautiful and we were able to purchase some to take a piece of them home and support this wonderful family. They made sure we were comfortable at all times, the room was spacious, had a heater for the nighttime, since it gets cold, plenty of blankets, hot showers, spectacular views, what else can you ask for?! They talked to us about their rich culture, which was impressive and it was a gift that they allowed us to take a peak into their everyday life as foreigners were not allowed back then in the Uros. I can not recommend this stay enough!! My husband and I left with our hearts full and a memory we will cherish for a lifetime! THANK YOU Walter, Maria, Sabino and Elena! Mucho amor y bendiciones!

We had a wonderful stay at the Uros Samaraña Uta Lodge. The family that hosts has lived on Uros island for generations and were a great resource to learn about the culture and history of the islands. We were well fed with 3 big meals a day and plenty of drinking water. Cesar, the main host, was very aware of our needs and made us feel well taken care of. It felt like a true homestay experience - not luxurious but very authentic. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Elena and Pablo were so welcoming from the first moment I arrived! They explained how to get to the port from the Puno bus station and then picked me up in a boat to bring me to the house :) also check in was at 10am so I didn’t have to wait long after arriving in the morning and got to enjoy the whole day on the lake and visiting the Uros community. The apartment is so cute and a perfect spot to disconnect and relax! It was so cool to stargaze through the glass ceiling in the room and watch the sunset from the daybed on the deck. The home cooked meals were delicious, and the bed was so comfy! I would definitely recommend staying here :)

Do not let the lack of reviews for this booking to keep you from staying here like it almost did me and several others. Wilson, Nelly, and their baby girl are a pleasure to stay with. We had a fantastic three nights with them where we got to know each other, Wilson took us out on his boat to see the floating islands to places like where he went to school, the church, and an island where his friends make the boats. Nelly showed us how to chrochet and we bought some beautiful things for our house, and we went fishing with Wilson one morning and got to try to drive the traditional boats. The best thing was that all of this was included along with a beautful breakfast. There is also the ability to do other activities and to add on lunch or dinner for an additional cost. In terms of getting on and off the islands, Wilson is readily available and he has a car to make the trip as well if you would like to have him take you closer in the city. The arrangements in the smaller house were phenomenal, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. There is electric with lights to charge phones, and whatever else you might want to charge. Thank you so much Wilson and Nelly!

    Quiet 4-star hotel overlooking Lake Titicaca. Decent rooms, good modern bathroom. A little far from the water, but the views are still good. Excellent restaurant and generous buffet breakfast. Plenty of parking, although it's a bit of a hike uphill back to reception, so unload first.

    The location is perfect for views of the lake on one side and Puno township on the other. The staff were very helpful. Breakfasts were very good with a lot of variety and with fresh food items. Very much a relaxed feel is created which matches the great views from the common areas. We had a car and on site secure parking was perfect. We stayed for 3 nights and had dinner either in the restauarant or bar and the prices were resonable.
