The place was beautiful. And the service was fantastic. I also recommend ordering the supper. It was delicious. We were returning from the Algarve and needed a place to stay before catching a flight the next day and it couldn’t have been better.

Hotel is nestled in the breathtaking lush fields of Alentejo. The entire property exudes tranquility, making it the perfect escape for those seeking peace and connection with nature. The staff were incredibly welcoming, their hospitality truly made a difference. The hotel restaurant was a highlight of our visit. Every dish was crafted with fresh, local ingredients, bursting with authentic flavors. The vegetarian options were plentiful and thoughtfully prepared, and the wine list featured a fine selection of local wines. Room is tastefully decorated, it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The serene atmosphere of the hotel, combined with its eco-conscious approach, made our stay feel even more special. If you're looking for a retreat that combines natural beauty, outstanding hospitality, and exceptional dining, Gandum Village is the perfect destination. I can't wait to return!

Quinta da Alentegria is a beautiful property, privately owned, very close to the city of Alcácer. It has a very nice pool area, a playground, and several sofas in the shade to read a book or rest. The cottages are comfortable and nicely furnished, and the kitchenette is well equipped. The hosts are a Belgian couple, super polite and friendly. We traveled with our neurodivergent 5-year-old son, and they went above and beyond to accommodate his needs and make our stay the best possible. We are already planning our next stay! 😊

Km 519 N2 Alojamento Local is a recently renovated guest house in Montemor-o-Novo where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge.
