Beautiful century old building, very friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast was excellent.

Welcoming staff, large room and quiet location in beautiful grounds!

Staff was awesome. Room was good.

Quiet, cozy and clean. A short walk to shops and restaurants. Good price for a decent room.

Very comfortable, clean, and great staff

Large place with a big bedroom

Spacious room, very friendly staff, easy to accommodate our needs - we only arrived at the property past midnight. Overall a great place to stay, clean, completely renewed with amazing taste!

I love and will keep coming back to this little hidden charm. No better place to recharge batteries/

Place was beautiful. Sooo clean, I had my baby walking around with no shoes because how clean this place was. Amazing service, they were so attentive to every single detail, I will deff stay here again next time we back in PT. Thank you!!

Comfort, beautifull garden and clean hotel. Very friendly staff and great breakfast!

My stay at Casa Gorjão was truly wonderful. From the moment I arrived I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me immediately feel at home. The lovely hostess went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed throughout my stay. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and thoughtful, providing lots both comfort and convenience. The location was lovely, peaceful and beautiful, but still offering easy access to supermarkets, and Aviero being just a 30 minute drive. What truly set this apart, however, was the host themselves. My daughter was travelling alone for the first time and being so welcomed and cared for meant such a lot. The host not only provided a comfortable place to stay but also welcomed her like family into her home. I can not express my gratitude for her hospitality and kindness enough. If you're looking for a truly exceptional experience that goes beyond mere accommodation, look no further. Casa Gorjao is a true home away from home.

Staying at NR Suites was the best decision. It is a lovely, homey place. It is very quiet and clean with a pool to jump into at the end of your day. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The common spaces were very nice and comfortable as well.

If you want a hidden gem … I have a diamond for you! Torres da Vila B&B in Anadia, a short drive to beautiful Luso and historic Coimbra, hosted by the beautiful Raquel and her husband Miguel (handsome UBER driver –our inside joke!). Torres da Vila is nestled a short drive from the hustle and bustle of a big city. The beauty unfolds after you enter the gated premises of this stunning renovated property and doesn’t stop with the warmth, exceptional hospitality and the most abundant and delicious breakfast. Don’t miss an opportunity to experience true Portuguese hospitality at its best. Pride in ownership of a fabulous home, elegant and comfortable, with tasteful amenities. This couple goes above and beyond what is expected from hosts. Don’t miss the unique underground museum at Alianca Winery … another hidden gem nearby. And Miguel’s restaurant recs are spot on. Thank you for a very memorable stay and for going out of your way to find us when we were lost, make our restaurant reservations, ‘UBERING’ us to the beautiful Bussaco Palace and surroundings. Most of all, for treating us like family while we were far from home.

The hotel is a little out of the way for the Caminho route. However, the staff were great, the room was clean and nice. In the evening I went to the restaurant downstairs and the food and service was excellent. I do not speak Portuguese but the waiter greeted me and then helped me through the menu and directed me to local specialties.

Very beautiful and tidy courtyard, delicious breakfast, my children and I also had a lot of fun in the swimming pool

The location, the staff, the room with private garage, the breakfast. All in all I enjoyed it, would definitely recommended and would stay again.

Unique place, take you back in time, very quiet, very good breakfast, great host, gave us a lot of information about the area.

Margarita made the stay exceptional, very kind and detail oriented. The room is very comfy, the house and pool area is great, and the location is great, because you're chill out, but can visit many areas with car. ( porto, Aveiro, etc)

The host Margarida was the best, she welcomed us with some fresh eggs from her chickens, breakfast was amazing with homemade pastries, the place is amazing for nature lovers, the apartment was super clean and with small lovely details that made the difference
