Ideally located halfway between Curtea de Arges and Lacul Vidraru. Good starting point to visit the Transfagarasan road. No restaurant, but good dining options in the nearby area and in Curtea. There are secured parking for motorcycles behind gate. It seems popular with motorcycle travelers doing the Transfagarasan. My room had a small balcony perfect for a afternoon beer after all the riding. Cold beers can purchased cheap across the street in a shop.
