You can eat outside, have a grill (everything was prepared, I just had to light it), etc. Perfect place to have a weekend escape for example with the family. Also a lot to visit around within a 1h drive. Host is very open and friendly. The place is also very clean.

At the last minute we decided to take a short break to Retezat. We booked to stay at Cabana Nisipoasa and was met with great communication by the host via the booking chat. This made us feel at ease because we knew that if we had any reason to contact the host we would get a quick response. We were also delighted that they were willing to allow us a flexible check in and check out. Upon arrival we were greeted with a very warm welcome by the hosts who then showed us around their beautiful cabana. Cabana Nisipoasa is an amazing place to stay. It is quiet, comfortable with great outdoor cooking and socialising facilities. The hosts have thought of everything for their guests and we felt at home straight away. It has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. I can't forget to mention that Cabana Nisipoasa has the most beautiful mountain views - breathtakingly beautiful!!! We had a wonderful time here. If we ever get the chance again we would definitely like to come back!

Everything perfect. The rooms are big and clean with very comfortable beds. View from some of the bedrooms is spectacular. Bathrooms are clean and there is one also in the living area which is a plus. Kitchen very well equipped with all cooking facilities and cleaning products. The living area is big, big table were to stay.Also board games are available. Outside is a barbacue zone and the view from the terrace is extremely nice. Direct view of the mountains. Also very close to mountain tracks if you want. A plus would be that it is not located on the main road and it is very quite. Access road is through the forest, but is ok, not to worrie.

The host cooked us the dinner which was good. I appreciated that there was a fridge in the hallway in which you could place your food. The parking is a little bit tricky if the cabin is fully booked but you won't have any issues. There is no signal for your phone (Orange) but you can use the WiFi which is good with strong signal all around the building.
