The home exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable and welcoming. Our friend slept on the pull out couch and reported it to be very comfortable. Although we ate out, the kitchen had everything you needed to cook a full meal or bake. The outdoor area was equipped with hammocks, corn hole, a gas fire pit, and jacuzzi. All of which we enjoyed in our short trip. When we arrived each room had fresh flowers and Alexa was playing some welcoming music. Amy has put a lot of thought into making this a home away from home. We plan to return for a longer visit. There is so much to see and do in this area.

    The hotel was very clean and the staff (Jessica) was super nice. The bed was comfy, AC worked. The parking lot was lit up at night, I felt very safe walking to my room with my kids. The price was decent for the area. I'd definitely stay here again.

    We did not get to try the buffet in the hotel as we had to move hotels due to no running water. The water issue was not the hotel’s fault as a sink hole developed in the parking lot and filled with water. The fact that someone else’s hair was in the tub and bathroom is their fault. The room was hot and dark when we walked in; not inviting at all.

    Grand Vista is an older (a little dated) hotel. Check-in and check-out is friendly and easy. Great front desk staff! Clean room. Comfortable bed. Clean and nice bathroom and shower. Pool and Hot Tub (jets were not working but warm water was nice switch between the pool and the hot tub) are indoors. Nightly rate is on the cheaper side but there is a car parking rate of $14/ night. Breakfast bar with meat is $18/person. Again, comfortable place and kind staff.

    Location was great, so many places to walk to dinner near the hotel. It was near the train station, too. Comfortable beds and very attentive staff. The bar across the parking lot was a fun little place to get a beverage.
