there was a big hassle checking in. The amount we prepaid through Booking.com was different by $.50 and it took 30 minutes to correct it. I don't think we will use Booking.com again. The person working at the desk was very diligent and polite to us to solve the problem. The property is in good shape, the room was clean.

Breakfast was a very hearty continental breakfast. Our room was comfortable. The bathroom does need to be updated (it's on their list) but also could have been cleaner The dining room and living room were very spacious. The enclosed porch overlooked the Mississippi River and was super relaxing. We would stay here again. Remember the house is 101 years old and as our hosts say "a work in progress" will be fun to see each project completed

    Good location, staff was friendly enough. Room was just adequate enough for a short stay. Lots of parking space. Coffee in the the lobby in the morning was very good. Oh, and there were no bedbugs or other insect problems.

    Hotel is close to the Interstate highway, and the outside appearance and parking were quite good. The evening receptionist was courteous and helpful in recommending dinner restaurants.

    Breakfast was ordinary and hotel is in a not so nice neighborhood — the signs in the parking lot say lock your cars and remove valuables 😬 room was clean and comfortable but plain. Not a bad place to stay

    We got there and the room smelled of mold. They moved us to another room where it was missing a light bulb in the bathroom fixture along with the lights flickered while on. The second room also had a smell. The parking lot was full of people smoking pot which the smell also was in the elevators and hallways. We decided to leave and go.to another hotel and not stay as this hotel was ridiculous.
