We visited here to hike at Watkins Glen and also to break up the drive to Niagara Falls, and did not regret staying here. The property overlooks the lake - there is no lake access but there are nice trails that run to a creek and waterfall that makes for a nice hike. Rocky, the owner's chocolate lab, is such a sweet dog and we enjoyed having him around. We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooks the lake, and it was nice in the evening to sit with a beer or wine and enjoy the view. The staff at the in-house restaurant was also very warm and attentive.

fun glamming for the first time!! the down comforter and hot water bottles kept me warm in the bed on the first cool and rainy weekend of the Fall. the bathrooms are modern and convenient. the property is located next to the Watkins Glen international raceway where I was racing and is minutes to downtown Watkins Glen. The tent was cozy and there were fire pits and wood for nice fires. the owner stays on the property and is very attentive to your needs.

I always love the view of being able to step outside of my room and see all of the lake. The best sunrise you will ever see! It’s only 8 rooms which means it’s not crowded with people and it’s very quiet. They also redid the bathrooms from my previous time there and they look amazing!

    Its quirky because right off the main hwy and you drive down to a couple buildings, all parking lot, some rooms they pull in below, we had above with lil balcony which you are looking at the parking lot below and then the lake so that is pleasant. They have renovated it so clean , modern well appointed but truly the cigarette smoke smell is horrible. I am sure they tried their hardest even after renovating but its probably soaked into the walls.

    Owner was very helpful, informative and accommodating. Told us about the town, where customers have said they liked to eat. Allowed us to keep the car in their parking lot for several hours after checkout, so that we could go hiking in the Watkins Glen state park, Excellent location - across the street from the park entrance, and a few short blocks' walk to restaurant area and the lake marina & park. Room was clean and well-kept.
