- Nice house, newly constructed based on the typical house-type of H'mong ethnic people in Ha Giang (nhà "trình tường"). This homestay locates in "Pả Vi H'Mong village", a complex consisting of homestays, coffee shops and many more green spots, only 15 mins motor-ride to Mèo Vạc town (which is the best place to spend a night in Mèo Vạc). - Tourists can book a family meal with a diversity of choices from Ha Giang's specialties, freshly cooked by the host-lady. My family had dinner there with: thắng cố (cow/horse's intestine in a pot), thịt lợn treo (smoked pork) và canh rau (fresh vegetable soup, with veggie freshly picked from the host's garden). - Very helpful hosts: the host lent my family cash when the ATM in town was under construction. - Comfortable room with 2 big beds, cozy and warm.

We loved the heated mattress pads. The food was awesome, the service was great. My sister and I both had massages and the herbal bath. The massage was firm pressure and we were surprised when our massage lash got on top of the table and squatted over us hahaha a unique experience but we both enjoyed it. The herbal bath was a bit on the rustic side but we loved the lemongrass essential oil and the hot bath after a long cold day on the Ha Giang Loop.

Breakfast was better than dinner. Breakfast was simple but tasty pho while dinner was a hotpot. I'm not huge on hotpot but this was acceptable. The problem was a bunch of drunken locals on a Ha Giang guided tour. They were loud and rowdy and right next to us in the dining area.

This was our cheapest stay on the Ha Giang Loop and was certainly great value. They lit us a fire and it has a very communal vibe.
