The location near Hoedspruit was ideal, not to busy but close enough for easy towntrips. The staff was extremely friendly, I sprained my ankle during my stay and they even remembered when I bumped in to them again later that week in town. The hosting was very personal and friendly, this will probably be my go to place to stay when I need a hotel in Hoedspruit

It was pure understated elegance and a wonderful experience. The food and the staff were amazing. Every day was different: outdoor braai, elegant dinner, casual lunch .. etc. We tried Kudu and Ostrich and local dishes like Bobooti. It was lovely. Pool is lovely and overlooking a waterhole where elephants would always gather. Safari drives weee excellent. We saw hippo and buffalo and lions and elephants and giraffes and water hog and rhino and zebra and kudu and impala and baboon and crocodile … only thing we didn’t spot was the leopard. Will definitely come again. Staff were incredible too.

Ruan & Jenny are the best most attentive hosts you could ask for! The lodge is absolutely stunning inside and out, they went above and beyond. Food was amazing. Honestly we couldn’t fault it so we came back for our last night again!

Dear African Flair Team, My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at African Flair, and we wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. She meticulously planned all our trips, making our time in the area absolutely hassle-free. Her personal touch truly made a difference, especially when she kindly lent me her own binoculars for our safari activities. This thoughtful gesture enhanced our experience tremendously. We also appreciated the convenience of the breakfast baskets, which allowed us to enjoy delicious meals even with our early starts. The Bohemian decor of the lodge added a unique charm to our stay, making it both cozy and visually appealing. The romantic dinner our host arranged was a highlight of our trip. The beautiful decoration and intimate setting created a memorable evening for us. To top it all off, the lodge's unique location allowed us to experience wildlife up close, as we had the amazing opportunity to encounter a duiker and even a giraffe right at the lodge! Additionally, the lodge's location is very close to Hoedspruit airport and many reserves, making it an ideal place to stay. On the last day of our stay, we had a luxurious breakfast at the lodge, adding a touch of elegance to our experience. Overall, the value for money at African Flair is exceptional. The attentive service and the host's dedication to planning everything for us made our stay truly special. We highly recommend African Flair to anyone looking for an stress-free and delightful experience. We will definitely choose to stay here again. Warm regards,

The treehouse room is an experience beyond any other. The room is situated on a deck above the trees, which allows you to sleep safely under the stars whilst being immersed in nature. Had the weather been bad there was a sweet room below the deck with the bathroom. Luckily we had perfect weather and a stunning full moon.

We stayed at the Little Africa Safari Lodge as part of a 10 day exploration of Kruger and the greater Kruger area. This place stood out in that being a boutique size meant that we received great service in a relaxed setting. We saw all of the top five and often at very close proximity. We also saw two bonus cheetahs. At night you could hear lions roaring near by during the full moon. The food was delicious and plentiful. The pool was refreshing on a hot day. The bed was very, very comfortable and the glamping tent has all that you need. Would stay again and recommend to others.

    The real gem here was our host Kathy. She went above and beyond to ensure we not only enjoyed our time in Hoedspruit but also helped us with our planned travel in Kruger. She even followed up with us to make sure all went well. The room was a little tight especially with luggage and backpacks. Good size bathroom with lots of hot water. Bed was very comfortable. Table and chairs outside. Good parking and very secure.

    The rooms are spacious and beautiful view from the bedroom. stuff are super friendly and helpful, Intern Hiroko make contact with us before we arrive to check ETA etc and another assistance was waiting for us in the parking while we arrived . Plenty of animal activities around the camp. Parking area is close to the rooms. Visit to the Rehabilitation center is really convenient and close by.
