The owners Arno & Angie have done a great job with the place and it's very "homey" and welcoming with friendly staff and cute cats & dogs. We had a fun night out at a local bar with Arno and some other guests and we also spent a day out exploring the sights of which Arno gave us some great recommendations!

They showed us torajan traditions and explained everything very clearly. I had the best noodle soup I have ever had in Indonesia. The place is in a rural area surrounded by nature, which makes it very pleasant stay

The rooms were nice and spacious. Everything was clean. The staff was so helpful and kind, they even went with my mother to the town and helped her buy a new and cheap phone after other one broke down. The food was AMAZING, so tasty! There was also a guide that greeted us when we came, his name Yusuf, he planned a glorious 2 day tour around the area and we even got to witness a Torajan funeral ritual. The hotel also helped to arrange transportation to Rantepao from Tentena and then from Rantepao to Sengkang, the drivers name was Indi and he is a really good driver and takes good care of his passengers in the bumpy and hectic roads of Sulawesi

Julian is very friendly host, moreover excellent bird guide and kingfisher king and I enjoyed all our walks for animals in the park. His wife Treisha is a lovely person and outstanding cook smiling all the time. We recommend. See you next time, our friends!
