In a short time me and my girlfriend got to know her quite well because she is very open. We even, quite literally, were taken into her family as we had the honor of joining her family to a ceremony as guests. Learning about the area and its culture and traditions, it was really nice staying with Meyske as she explains very well and shows you the amazing sites. I would highly recommend Meyske as guide as she also makes you feel very comfortable, also while visiting ceremonies which can sometimes be intense. Besides the amazing energy and atmosphere, Meyske and her mother also prepared delicious breakfast and dinner every day. It was a very natural and local-like experience staying with Meyske and her mother. Memories we will never forget.

The homestay features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Mama Tia is the excellent homestay and suitable for whom want to connect with locals and nature. It's a bit far from downtown but it's not a problem. The owner is an acknowlegable local guide who can suggest and manage to explore Toraja and help you to book your next trip.

Comfortable and relaxed.

Novita Homestay is a 3-star property situated in Bunaken, facing the sea. The property has sea and mountain views. The accommodation features free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a family-friendly restaurant. The best homestay ever. Planned for three nights stayed for two weeks. Sweet home with my caring Novita mama and funny Butul papa and Oma and Opa. Comfortable and clean room with stable electricity (luxury), best cooking in Bunaken(Novita would prepare fish for guests like me but Tofu for vegans and nuggets for children and change menu almost everyday. You can also easily book dive/ snorkeling or trips from here with reasonable price. Definitely come back again!

The rooms here offers modern comforts and while maintaining the traditional decor. It is fitted with hardwood flooring, TV and dining table. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from the balcony or the garden view from the terrace. The private bathroom comes with a shower and towels. This is a GREAT homestay. The rooms were nice and spacious. Everything was clean. The staff was so helpful and kind, they even went with my mother to the town and helped her buy a new and cheap phone after other one broke down. The food was AMAZING, so tasty! There was also a guide that greeted us when we came, his name Yusuf, he planned a glorious 2 day tour around the area and we even got to witness a Torajan funeral ritual. The hotel also helped to arrange transportation to Rantepao from Tentena and then from Rantepao to Sengkang, the drivers name was Indi and he is a really good driver and takes good care of his passengers in the bumpy and hectic roads of Sulawesi

Julian is very friendly host, moreover excellent bird guide and kingfisher king and I enjoyed all our walks for animals in the park.
