Guests can find a private hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant on site. Although we only stayed one night, we had a marvelous stay at Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya! The personnel is very welcoming and helpful (their English is perfect), the rooms are big and very clean, and the four Ryokan onsens are great. I also recommend the dinner and Japanese breakfast which were perfect. Bonus: if you are into retro gaming the rooms and lobby have mini-NES and Megadrive.
