A little tip - Just take a taxi from the train station to add on to the comfort...costs about a thousand yen.

We all loved how the whole hotel had tatami flooring, it was very soft to walk on. The beds were very comfortable. The hair care products in the showers were very nice as well, I wish I could buy them. The private baths were incredible. They’re first come first serve but I never had to wait long to get into one. Also the staff was always so friendly, helpful, and nice.

Good temple nearby and close enough to Kyoto station to walk. The daily welcome drinks were a bonus, as you could end your day relaxing after a full day sightseeing.
