Very good standard of accommodation, very spacious clean room and toilet with all required amenities. The open air Onsen too was a lovely experience and had a very good standard. The Japanese garden was also nice. We booked for that Ryokan experience on our holiday and we most certainly enjoyed our stay which was very comfortable.

Offering free Wi-Fi and a spacious public bath, Ryokan Ryokufuso is located a 15-minute walk away from JR Kyoto Train Station. Guests can enjoy traditional multi-course meals featuring local Kyoto ingredients. We enjoyed our stay very much. I wish we had spent a few more nights here. The hostess and staff were very friendly. She explained all the amenities and even helped us get dress in kimono. She recommended a good steakhouse for dinner. The onsen was relaxing.

It really felt like you took a step back in time.

Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. The staff was wonderful. The young man who made our dinner and the young lady who made our breakfast are both very friendly and professional.

This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. An exceptional ryokan with outstanding service and incredibly polite staff. The atmosphere is peaceful, cozy, and very private. Our room with a private onsen was absolutely amazing, and the kaiseki dinner was unforgettable — truly a culinary experience.

After spending a week staying in a shoebox in Tokyo, the grandeur of this room blew us away! And two bathrooms?! Amazing! The facilities were all fantastic, the location was fabulous. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Kyoto.
