I highly recommend not only coming in for a visiting but staying here instead of a modern hotel to feel what the rich Oman's past has to offer. The Lodge houses a museum, and views over the old town of Taqa. The place is equipped with wifi, hot water and friendly customer service, hence you can enjoy all the comforts of the modern world, while enjoying an immersion into the past. This was the second time I stayed in Koofan Lodge, and will do so again if I visit Dhofar in the future.

Denne oase ud mod havet langs Dhofars sydkyst er det første luksusvilla-resort i Salalah. EVERYTHING there was a bit of mix up at check in .. due to being crowded (busy season). They automatically upgraded me for free to a villa i explicitly said i didnt want at time of booking. They managed to get me the rooms i desired in no time. How? I still dont know!... amazing staff .. thank you Selim and Adnan

The location is great directly on the beach, you have a beautiful view, a few steps to the best restaurant in town and a diving shop. The staff specially Abdallah is great, very helpful, super proactive, knowledgeable and acting quickly. The highlight was a 2.40m bed: a lot of space and the mattress is very comfortable. There’s a lot of space in the room.

The check-in process was smooth and professional, which made me feel comfortable right away. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The location is convenient and suitable for both short and long stays. The quality of service provided was excellent and exceeded my expectations. I believe Gloria Suites offers great value for money compared to other options in the area.
