The staff is just amazing, Marco and son are super nice and helpful. The location is great little off the center which is a plus - you can relax here. The WiFi works very good. The breakfast is just fine. Right on the beach, you can enjoy looking at the sea. The staff speaks French and the owners multiple languages so you will have very good contact. Probably the best value in the city. I was three days and prolonged to 6 days it was so good. I will remember this place and the people working in it. Great words re the staff, all ladies are very cool and always smiling. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Recommended for all kind of travellers.

Hans, the apartment manager, is always available, professional and courteous. Please note that this is an apartment, not a hotel, and it's about 10 minutes from the city center. You have all the amenities available, and the neighborhood is very safe with many shops . The taxi bikes or Keke are always around to take you to the city center or other destinations for less than 300 cfa. It's a great option if you want a quiet neighborhood without all the city's traffic. I would like to thank Mr. Hans and Michael for making our stay so comfortable. We definitely have a place to stay while in Cotonou now.

Basic and inexpensive room in stunning surroundings, no thrills, no air conditioning, but helpful, friendly staff. Interesting tours on offer at reasonable price. Recommendable, I had a wonderful experience.

I had an amazing experience at Hotel Bkbg! From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I have to give a special shoutout to two incredible team members — Tobi and another gentleman who quickly became my two favorite people during my stay. They were always ready to help, friendly, and truly made me feel at home. Whatever I needed, they were there with a smile and a solution. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it made my trip even more memorable. I will definitely be staying at Hotel Bkbg again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-tier service and and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

Incredible experience. Dont expect for any fancy stay with facilities and conditions because you are in the middle of a floating village. Really recommended, great staff and great location. Food also was very good. Will really recommend staying one night in Ganvie.

Upon arrival of the property, I was greeted by Madame Jolie (not exactly her name but she is such a beautiful person inside and out), the mother of the host. She walked me through the spotlessly clean apartment and showed me all that was available for me. I was only expecting a room but it's an entire apartment! There's a well equipped kitchen, a living room with comfy sofas, a cute balcony, and even a guest bathroom! For all the space and amenities, this is possibly the best value for money in Benin. The bedroom, which had a beautiful shower and large, comfy bed, came equipped with air conditioning that was so quick at cooling the room. I slept so well here. And Madame Jolie was so wonderful to me. There was a power outage one night, which is very normal based on my experience in Benin, and she stopped by to make sure that i had everything I needed and that I was okay. And when I departed, she walked with me to pick up a zem to make sure that I wouldn't be overcharged and made sure i stayed safe by wearing a helmet and being cautious with my bag while on the zem. She really went above and beyond.
