Cute cabin, nice and warm, everything was perfect!

Breakfast was great, hot tub was exquisite and the staff very welcoming

We left very early and asked for a take away breakfast, the breakfast provided for us was outstanding and so much more than expected!

Absolutely loved the cozy vibe! Everything you could possibly need - you’ll find it. We even saw Northern lights from bed! Also, the hosts are incredibly thoughtful and, when they saw I hurt myself (prior to the arrival at the cabin) they offered their help with finding a doctor and gave me a cooling pad.

We had very nice stay and it was highlight of our trip! Cottage is cute, super clean, equiped with everything you need. Nice view and great location. We do really recommend! :)

The Host/landlord was exemplary, would attended again probably next year. During our stay in Iceland, I experience a medical emergency as I managed to pull my back out form a snorkelling experience and started suffering painful spasms the next morning. However once the owner was made aware of my severe painfully condition, she drop everything she was doing as her day job is farming, meet us at the apartment and given I was the designated driver during our trip, she personally drove us to the local hospital and as well picked us up after my check up. She is a wonderful individual and the location of the apartment was also perfect for the auroras, will definitely attend again.

Everything.. The overall setup is a home away from home.. It's a spacious cabin for short hauls while exploring amazing Iceland.. The host is very responsive and happy to help.. The location is perfect to visit all the attractions in the Golden Circle..

Gamla Húsið is such a lovely place! Surrounded by beautiful scenery, it's the perfect spot to unwind. The house is naturally heated, so it feels warm and cosy, especially after a long day of exploring. You'll find that every window has a fantastic view! When we arrived, Trausti greeted us with a warm smile and shared all the wonderful features of the house, making us feel right at home. Plus, the charming town of Selfoss is just a quick 10-minute drive away, which makes it even better!

It's literally the best accommodation! It's pretty close to Selfoss so it's really easy to get groceries. There's everything you need in the kitchen to cook. The host is very responsive and nice. The cottage itself is very clean, cosy and comfortable. The surroundings are dark enough for you to see northern lights.

Perfect dome- high end bedroom space, fireplace thats easy and cozy to use, beautiful kitchenette/dining area, and clean modern bathroom/shower all within dome. Overall, exactly what I expected from glamping. The only thing is that if you keep the curtain open, you are about 15-20m from other Domes and hence will need to close curtains for full privacy. Super peaceful and luxe, would love to come again for longer romantic/relaxing stay. Also close to Selfoss small town 10 mins so very easy to get to.

The hotel was incredibly welcoming and beautiful. It was in the middle of the Icelandic nature which in itself was gorgeous. We loved the homey feel to the hotel, with communal parts being shared, which was a unique touch. The room was gorgeous and the staff was lovely. We even saw the northern lights!

This property was truly luxurious, super clean with great amenities, we loved all of it. The host was exceptional and very attentive.

We loved everything, the dome was very clean and comfortable. It is perfect for a getaway.
