Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Ella

Amazing area, we liked being out of the backpacker town. Had more local places near us. Only a short walk down and a quick tuk tuk back up. Amazing host by Danu and his mum, we felt very looked after. Room is basic as you’d expect for price but with a fan, mosquito net, hot water and an amazing view, it’s everything we were expecting and more.

Beatiful location, clean rooms, great breakfast and the staff makes u feel like ur at home. Highly recommend this place if ur planning on staying in ella. Would come back in a heartbeat!

The views of Ella mountain ⛰️ was amazing!! Being in nature and monkeys and squirrels coming to the balcony.

The view was incredible, the bed comfortable, and the shower hot. Overall a great stay; I wish we could have stayed more than 1 night. The owner was very kind and helpful.

Beautiful location with very lovely staff

Amazing property with amazing owners. The view is spectacular and the owner go above and beyond to help you. Such a nice breakfast. Do not miss this place, it’s a hidden gem!

Location was a bit outside of the city centre and all the buzz & noise, which we loved! The surrounding area was quiet and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We rented out a scooter that made it easy to reach the accommodation. Everything was clean, the bathroom looked new and very well maintained. The host was so nice and made us feel very welcome, breakfast was huge and tasted amazing - they tried to fulfill every wish. We even did our laundry at the hotel and it smelled amazing. Would recommend!

Actually staff is really good and breakfast also good

Great location. A 3 min walk to the Main Street in Ella where all the restaurants and bars are at. Family very nice and great service. Room was comfortable. Only 2 rooms for rent on the property.

Clean rooms. Perfect location from the center of the city. 3 minutes walk from train station

The property owner made us feel like home and the maintenance was good.

Amazing view of the mountains from where you eat breakfast and also the bedroom window. The breakfast is exceptional. They made a decorative design on the bed for our honeymoon.

Clean rooms and a nice mountain view from the upper balcony. Staff was helpful and made a good breakfast. For the price i can highly recommend this property.

Our stay at Mistara Ella in Ella, Sri Lanka was truly exceptional. It was a brand new hotel and the views are absolutely breathtaking and the pool is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The property has a very peaceful and special atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. What made the stay even more memorable was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. A special thank you to the owner, Mr. Tharaka, whose hospitality and friendliness made us feel right at home. If you are visiting Ella, I highly recommend staying at Mistara Ella. It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was very friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The location was great, and everything we needed was nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was amazing 👏 🤩

The whole place was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were all amazing and tended to our every need. Free Tuk tuks into Ella town were so handy, even if we were just a short walk into town. We were treated to a cooking class while we were here, with their in house chef Harishan. Harishan was so professional and his curry recipes are to die for! He was assisted by a new comer to the Aware Retreat team - Bhawanraj - who did a great job with everything asked of him from the chef. Cannot recommend this place, or their services enough!

Amazing staff and incredible breakfast, location is perfect walking distance of 3-5 minutes.

Janith and his lovely family could not do too much for us. They were wonderful hosts. The location is perfect tranquil and yet only 5 minutes from the busy centre of Ella Our breakfast each morning was exceptional! We looked out onto the mountains.
