Our favourite location in Latvia - 10 stars! The accommodations are very clean and comfortable, the staff are very welcoming and responsive, the breakfasts are incredible and there is plenty to do for kids and adults (beach is a very short walk, hot tub and sauna are available if booked in advance, there are several play structures for the kids, plus outdoor games, etc). It is also a very short drive to Ventspils (for groceries etc) We cannot wait to come again.

We spent three nights there around New Year. The little house exceeded our expectations. We were worried that it would be cold in the rather simple house, but we were very comfortable there. There was even a Christmas tree to add to the atmosphere. And a fantastic playground for the kids! Only 20 minutes from Ventspils.
