Location, location, location. Easy to check in, good communication from staff prior to arrival, easy parking, very cozy and clean with everything you would need in the room. There was a small kitchenette with plates and cups, provision to heat water and make tea. We were thrilled to watch the Aurora Borealis from our room.

Literally Everything. Host was very responsive and kind. Location is just perfect, also for northern lights. Very nice the possibility to use the outside cabin, even in winter was cozy with fire up. We needed to find a place to stay last minute during our trip to the Lofoten Islands. Booking was easy and The Tide did not disappoint! We left our lodging early because the accommodations were less than we were comfortable with and The Tide turned the trip around! The waterfront cabin was the typical Lofoten fishermen’s cabin, picturesque, clean and had everything you could want/need. The main building was an added bonus as we had a great dinner and the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Even better we were able to catch the Northern Lights right from our cabin! Our only regret was not booking The Tide from the start.
