The property is absolutely gorgeous with views to die for. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, I even had a kettle and a Nespresso Machine with a milk foamer in my room. The decor is lovely and the Manor House dating back to the 1800’s, maintains its authenticity although the rooms are quite luxurious. You have access to the manor house, the terraces, and the kitchen where they provide coffee, tea, and some cereals as well.

A great location in Reine. Easy drives to lots of hiking trail heads. But you will need a rental car. A fully functional kitchen with all we need to cook, including cooking oil and seasonings. This is a Coop grocery store close by. The apartment is modemly designed, clean, and looks very new. Beautiful mountain view right outside the windows. There are books we found helpful to choose our hiking.

It was a great location near most thing we wanted to do in and near Reine. The house large and it was great to have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Reine is a magical spot, charming small village surrounded by majestic mountains. It's a once in a lifetime experience of old times & stunning beauty. The cafe facing the harbour is great with yum chai latte, coffee, delicious cakes & friendly staff. If you have a car you can do some great treks, or even just by walking/taking boat etc. We even found a tiny gym.yoga studio in Cato Garden. Really loved it - al of it.

Reine is a beautiful but very small town in Lofoten.
Reine is a beautiful but very small town in Lofoten. I went there for two nights and it was just right. First evening just explored the town, on the second full day I took the bus to A and walked around (they have some nice hikes with views) and on the next morning did climb to Reinebringen before going back to Svolvaer. So the trip was nice and productive :)
There are two restaurants (visited both and they have nice fish dishes); small shop at the center (mostly for snacks or burgers and ice cream) so if you need a proper grocery store you will have to walk to opposite short (around 30mins walk or 5mins by car).
In Reine you may also do some cycling and kayaking. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Its a picture perfect town.
Its a picture perfect town. I don't need to describe its beauty. Its apparent from my pictures itself. We were lucky to see Northern lights (Aurora Borealis ) during our stay. It made the stay even more unforgettable.

The cottage we stayed in was cosy with a fantastic view of the water and mountain, sitting there with a hot drink in hand and enjoying the view after a walk on a windy rainy day was the best way to end the day. Has all the things we need for cooking. Free parking space, easy to get in and out of places. It's a pleasant stay.

We did the Reinebrigen hike.
We did the Reinebrigen hike. Lots of people but amazing views.
We also rented a boat from the hotel and went to Vindstad and did the hike to Helvetestiden and Bunes beach. Loved it.
Drive down to the town of Å. Went to the old bakery for cinnamon rolls. Charming. Stopped for lunch at Maren Anna on the way back to the hotel.
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant. We stopped in at Anitas Sjomat for shrimp and brought them back for dinner at our cabin. One night we walked to dinner at Gadus. Charming and convenient.

This is a truly beautiful and majestic landscape, and definitely not to be missed. Inevitably it's own fame and success, together with its one main road, means it can be busy at times, certainly during summer months.
I wouldn't miss it for the world, but there are other really stunning places in Noway to see without the cavalcade of motorhomes, so don't miss those either.
The location was fantastic to explore the southern part of Lofoten. The accommodation was authentic but comfortable and the semi over water feel was fantastic. With great summer weather and the windows open my wife and I enjoyed the sound of the sea gulls. It was very Doc Martin. We only stayed two nights so dined at the Mexican restaurant next door (very friendly staff) and the Seafood across the road. If staying longer then cooking in the accommodation is the way to go.
Also we had no trouble with car parking when we stayed.
By far the best hotel in the Reine area, no other rorbuer has such views on the pristine fjords. I would definitely stay there again if I come back! It’s convenient to walk to other places nearby, has an excellent restaurant and the cabins are very cute. They’re very clean and well maintained, respecting the traditional styles in the villages. They’re also very well equipped in the kitchen which is perfect to prepare your meals. Beds are super comfortable and you have bus station and plenty of parking spaces. Really amazing!
Everything! What a location looking right up the fjord! Yes, you have to bend over in the loft bedroom but this just adds to the experience- a real Rorbuer.Drnks on our lovely sunny deck each afternoon looking st the beautiful scenery, Easy oarking, convenient to restaurants, quiet, private, had everything we needed, great atmosphere- our favourite accommodation in Norway after 6 weeks of travelling. Spectacular outlook, washing machine, warm…what more could you want- we loved it.
Everything is absolutelly super! Retrospectively looking, it was two nicest stays in Lofoten. I would recommend this rorbuer from the bottom of my heart. It has everything you would think of - good coffe maschine, lots of usefull stuff in the kitchen, nice bedroom, washing mashine, dryer ans stunning view from the window. We stayed at Thesenbua.
Beautiful location, extremely clean and pretty house. Just next to good restaurants, cafes and supermarket and the bus stop.
Very helpful and sweet owners and staff. They stored our luggage for 2 night even though we were not staying with them for those 2 nights. Jan gave us great recommendations for things to do in Lofoten
