Loved our Rorbuer, and the views was great. The best part of our stay was catching the Northern lights right beside our Rorbuer. It was also a very cosy stay, with sufficient warming in the Rorbuer, a respite from the cold weather.

Driving in Lofoten towards Reine is fun and blissful with great views and beautiful landscapes. We made numerous stops just so we could digest the most beautiful scenery during our autumn road trip. ❤️💕❤️
Reine is a village spread out on a few islands at the entrance of a fjord which cuts between a large number of breathtaking peaks surging from the sea. The fjord branches out in 4 directions, a boat tour is an absolute must, either on the public ferry or on the tour boat. It is much recommended to alight in Vindstad and walk to the pass (70 m high) leading to Bunes beach on the Arctic ocean, then to continue the boat tour visiting the deepest branch of the fjord on the return trip. A visit to A, an ancient fishing village turned into a museum (incl. the interesting Stockfish Museum), is highly recommended too, 12 km further on the E10 road. Sea kayaking and other outdoor activities are available from Sakrisoy island. Reine is a quiet place, it has some resources like the Tapperiet bistro, a nice pub on the central square, but is not the place for nightlife lovers. Moving around without a car, if really necessary, may entail quite some walking, e.g. to the main supermarket which is visible across the water from the centre of Reine, but a good 1/2 hour's walk along the road (the landscape making this a beautiful hike, however).
Reine is a portion of the Lofoten Islands in Norway. The whole area from north to south is worth visiting. Lots of beautiful scenery to see and photograph as you drive around. Bus tours are available but would not recommend as they don't stop on command to view the scenery
Lovely small town surrounded by the mountains. There are a few cosy places to eat (Tapperiet Bistro for example). It is very easy to get around in Reine because of its small size and the perfect place to start your hike to the Reinebringen peak.
The cabin offers an incredibly beautiful view! I never expected to stay in such a beautiful place. Modern, clean and surrounded by the most breathtaking view! This is THE place to stay! We will be back soon :) Thank you Lasse for the best host!
end of October even though off season there were quite a few tourists walking around. On the bridge for the famous postcard picture, there were already too many people. I was told that in summer there was between 800-1000 tourists on that bridge. Nightmare!!!! Reine is wonderful but I rather avoid the crowd

By far the best hotel in the Reine area, no other rorbuer has such views on the pristine fjords. I would definitely stay there again if I come back! It’s convenient to walk to other places nearby, has an excellent restaurant and the cabins are very cute. They’re very clean and well maintained, respecting the traditional styles in the villages. They’re also very well equipped in the kitchen which is perfect to prepare your meals. Beds are super comfortable and you have bus station and plenty of parking spaces. Really amazing!

The property is in a beautiful location. Cabin 13 is a two bedroom with kitchenette and sea view. It is very well equipped, and includes a laundry sink. We loved the table by the window and the view. The living room has a working wood-burning cast-iron stove. The heating works well. You can walk to Anita’s Sjømat for coffee or fish sandwiches and you are very close to Reine. Beautiful and cozy place. It is rustic, but nice.

The location is SUPER! you can just walked around. The surroundings are picturesque, just 3 minutes walk to the most popular photographic point in Reine. We rented a cabin with sea view which is recommended. The cabin is equipped with kitchen, heater (during winter time), comfy beds (we got bunk beds). Love this place and would recommend for anyone who plan to stay in Reine.
Very beautiful house at nice location near Reine. Our room was modern, clean and stylish, could have been a bit larger. The hall and the building surrounding smelled fishy, but that is normal at Lofoten fishing village. There was no smell in the room. Near the accomadation is a great shop and restaurant with sea food and excellent fresh salmons - pure heaven.

A perfect view for the Aurora and the beautiful village of Reine. We loved the traditional fisherman’s cabin which had everything we needed for our stay. The customer service team were very helpful during our stay and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend these beautiful cabins!
The stay was amazing! The views were beautiful and the cabin exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend. Hiking Reinebringen was very close to the Rorbu. Restaurant was very good. Got the Crab for two!
1. Besides galler and free parking with ticket from hotel. which is important for mountain hiking 2. room is big and clean, breakfast is simple but enough. owner is polite.
