May's Apartments is located in Reine and features air-conditioned accommodations with free WiFi, as well as access to a terrace. We would rent from May's appartments again, for the absolutely heavenly sheets alone. In addition to the lovely sleeping arrangements our very friendly host, May, gave us excellent tips for our Lofoten sightseeing and provided us with an impeccably clean, cozy room with excellent view.

The cabin offers an incredibly beautiful view! I never expected to stay in such a beautiful place. Modern, clean and surrounded by the most breathtaking view! This is THE place to stay! We will be back soon :) Thank you Lasse for the best host!
end of October even though off season there were quite a few tourists walking around. On the bridge for the famous postcard picture, there were already too many people. I was told that in summer there was between 800-1000 tourists on that bridge. Nightmare!!!! Reine is wonderful but I rather avoid the crowd
The Lofoten Islands are filled with Gorgeous mountains, fjords, seascapes, hiking, good restaurants and delightful villages. We loved it!!! Reine is one of the larger villages in the most southern island close to Sakrisoy,Hamnoy, etc If you’re staying more than a night, get supplies in Leknes or Reine’ Coop We stayed in Sakisroy which is much smaller than Reine but peaceful and convenient
I have been there in the summer and during winter seasons, both offered totally different experiences. I have to say I like the summer season better, because there are more thing to do and restaurants are all open.
A trip to this area in december is a little risky, as the majority of activities are closed for the low season, and planning can be strongly affected by weather conditions. But a great Northern Light show, powered by extended nighttime, will pay back for all the time spent looking for a good breakfast :-)
Lovely village. Anita’s deli has some great food and fresh fish to buy. There are some lovely hikes and a couple of really nice restaurants in town centre. A really lovely quaint little place. We really loved it... wish we could box it up and take home.
