The food was the best thing about the hotel. We had dinner - only one choice for starter, main and pudding, but it meant it was done well. Our food was skillfully cooked, seasoned and presented and extremely good value. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Not the best coffee I've had but it was ok.

Great location, wonderful breakfast with extensive selection of options, owner/manager went above and beyond to help find solutions for us after our cycling trip was derailed with a cycling accident resulting in my daughter breaking her collar bone. He was even willing to lend us his vehicle to sightsee if we hadn’t been able to rent a vehicle. He persuaded the local Avis at rental to open on a Sunday to allow us to continue our journey.
