The property is located 40 km from Piazza Matteotti, 50 km from Piazzale Michelangelo and 50 km from Pitti Palace. Certain units at the property have a balcony with a mountain view. Palazzo Pacini was our favourite place to stay while in Tuscany. We arrived after 9pm because of flight delay. Owner called and was ready to wait us. He was very welcoming and kind, showed parking area (5min walk from the hotel, public and free) and gave a lift back to the hotel. Room was spacious and very clean. Loved the area around the hotel, had very good pizza across the street. Breakfast was delicious. Loved everything.

The whole certosa is monumental and it is worth the visit, there is so much to explore around. I will definitely go back in summer!

The elegant rooms of Villa Nottola feature ceilings with original wooden beams and brick vaults. The walls are painted in soft natural colours matching the Tuscan art furnishings. The wine tasting was excellent. The food in the restaurant was superior. The breakfast each morning was the best we had our entire Italian trip. The wait staff were wonderful and very comforting. Mony and Happi were lovely and very helpful

All rooms at the Sabolini have satellite TV, minibar and private bathroom. Wi-Fi internet access is also available. Beautiful, well kept grounds. Everything was clean and to a high standard. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Love the breakfast!

After a very difficult year, I wanted to find a special place in Italy to spoil me and my partner. I always look for places that will have something a bit special that can elevate our stay from something nice to something extraordinary and Hotel Certosa di Maggiano was not only extraordinary, it was extra extraordinary. The place is stunning, from every angle, totally unique and slightly quirky. The breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is divine - elegant, very good food and waiters - without feeling overly fussy. The recommendations for things to do in the area brought us to places we would never have found on our own and took us off the tourist trail - including excellent, local restaurants. But like every experience - the thing that made the place truly magic were the people, the staff, they really care about your experience and the hospitality is so genuine and kind. 8 days we will always remember. Highly, highly recommended.
