The triple room was big enough to accommodate all of us (3) and everything was spotless clean. I would recommend this place to my friends and my sister!

It is a quaint place with only few rooms. Although not equipped with a lift, the host offered to help with luggages herself and if I am not mistaken there is also a room on ground floor which you can request rather than missing out on this hotel. The owner helped us with parking to be able to be close enough to park our cars and walk. It was a 5 minute walk to street parking as inside the city one cannot enter without a permit. Also close to the centre (Torre del Mangia etc) which is only 7 mins away on foot. Room was lovely and extremely clean! Loved it and wished we could spend more nights here. Definitely recommend!

The food was excellent, the Michelin star restaurant was creative but grounded in the local cuisine, the regular restaurant has a good selection of well prepared dishes, the staff was exceptional - friendly, professional, helpful. The desk staff was excellent in helping us organize our activities, the masseuse professional and competent, the facilities well maintained and charming, the infinity pool area perfect for sunning, the grounds exceptionally well maintained with breathtaking views. It is in the heart of Chianti Classico country, with short drives to dozens of excellent wineries. Our stay here was the highlight of our trip. Can't wait to go back.

The liver pate was a real surprise & so good, I ordered it again the following night. The steak was cooked to perfection and the pasta was outstanding. Everything! Calm and beautiful atmosphere and amazing food! The pool was much appreciated by the whole family as it was 35 degrees outside. Stunning sunsets, air conditioning in the rooms (not apartments) and very helpful personnel. Most knew English which made everything easier. The best Italian breakfast we came across during our stay in Italy (not fond of the sweet breakfast concept idea).
