We stayed here before our drive 6 hours north the next day after arriving on dallas forth worth airport. we had a great stay. positives: - outside pool 9am-10pm at 6th floor - including dinner and breakfast (breakfast in weekends starts at 7am) - free parking garage, reachable with same elevators as for the rooms - comfortable beds - clean rooms - relaxed atmosphere I had a great stay with my kids. we were all rested up before our long drive the next day. We'll stay here again at the end our holiday back to the airport.

Pear Tree Inn serves beer, wine and soda in the lobby every evening as well as popcorn and soft drinks throughout the day. The receptionist was very kind, my room was clean, even gave us free snacks. But sine we were in a rush, we didn't took the advantage.

We chose La Mansión del Rio because it is situated right in the heart of town on the River Walk and it looked good on the booking website. Everything positive we read is thoroughly justified, and that includes the staff in particular. We will certainly book La Mansión del Rio again on a future occasion, and we recommend it to everybody visiting the fantastic town of San Antonio.
