Places to Stay in Lienz

It's a lovely hotel with old world charm. The whole hotel is spotless. The staff are lovely. It's exactly what a hotel should be. Welcoming. Clean and comfortable. I have read reviews saying 'not enough artwork etc! But I have never been travelling expecting hotel artwork to make the difference to my stay! Breakfast brilliant.. not too extreme with enough options to start everybody's day. The location can't be better. I loved it.

Really nice hotel. EXCEPTIONAL breakfast. Would go there anytime again.

An exceptionally comfortable and innovative interior design makes this place a real gem. The views from the loft and terrace are magnificent and the proximity to the train station and all that Lienz has to offer is above and beyond what we had hoped. Simple self check-in and lovely on-site staff made our visit to this amazing little town the best it could be. Thank you!! 😊

Staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable. The location is stunning, with a gorgeous mountain view. The room size is generous, well appointed and sparkling clean. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, all of high quality and well prepared.

Beautifully situated property overlooking Lienz and the valley. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant has a really unique atmosphere, with an excellent menu and fresh, delicious food. Breakfast also had a great selection

It was amazing! Staff very helpful, yummy breakfast, stunning views, fabulous and large room, comfy beds and an awesome sauna. We did not want to leave.

Awesome place and breakfast. Very clean good bed

Excellent location—right next to the historic center. Mountain view from the window. Large free parking area. We only stayed for one night, so I can't say too much, but we liked both the hotel and the town.

Comfortable bed. Helpful staff.

What a beautiful apartment! It has been newly renovated, is exceptionally clean, and very warm. Lots of space and lots of storage for clothes, and one of the biggest bathrooms we’ve ever seen! The host is very generous and welcoming. Easy parking on site, very quiet location. It was just perfect.

Clean large room, restaurant downstairs was good. Plenty of parking outdoors. Perfect location for a stop over on way to Dolomites.

Loved this place! First - at least during our stay - there seemed to be an all women staff and they were exceptional. So kind and helpful and gave our dog a lot of love. The breakfast had great options and got our days started well. I think we just had a 'basic' room but it was spacious and comfortable. Parking was easy and the proximity to the train station was a real plus. The pool/spa were a definite highlight!!

The apartments are new, well equipped, and very modern. When you wake up, you get welcomed by a magnificent view on Alpes and fabulous breakfast in a restaurant. Lienz is just a couple of minutes by car so you can buy whatever you want. Staff is extremely helpful. Thank you!

Fantastic staff with friendly staff and owners. The lake is incredible, warm and beautiful surroundings to swim in. They even have rowing boats that you can take out for free on the lake. Brilliant place to stay, large rooms and balcony. The atmosphere was brilliant with a real family feel to it - so warm and friendly.

Very clean rooms, very good food, wonderful views and excellent owners/staff. Made us feel welcomed.

Hostest were perfect in any sense! Lady with a charm and great hospitality persona. She is the light of the gasthof. I hope to come back there. She made everything perfect, early arrival, check in, room,, bar service, breakfast.

The apartment is amazing. Beds very comfy

Dystans to city centre around 2km . We had our bikes and was no problem. From balcony nice view on Lienzen dolomiten. When we visit again Lienz definitely we stay again in this apartment.
