Hotel Berghof
Breakfast was very good, included fresh fruit and vegetables. It was served on the table, no buffet. Everything was well taken care off. The owner came by several times to ask if we needed anything else. The owner spoke very good English. Even after closing time, we were able to enter the guesthouse without any problems. The parkinglot is in front of the guesthouse. Everything was very clean, there was even a footbath in the bathroom, with herbs. Very nice!

The hotel has a nice and cozy atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The room was nice and clean, with comfortable beds. The Christmas scenery in the dining hall gave us good feelings and a wish we could be there more. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special, but good enough to satisfy all our needs.

Location was amazing. Too bad the weather wasn't good. A bit isolated. Nearest town is 10mins by car. Perfect for those looking for a private and relaxing time with your family. Plenty of space for kids to play around.

The location. with nice restaurants and supermarket in the walking distance. The terrace, and the apartment itself is quiet even through it’s next to the Main Street. Overall, the apartment is very clean. The owners are very helpful with quick response. Lots of stuff for the kids to stay comfortably.
Lochhof Zwei - Eifelurlaub mit Farmcharme
Our host Oli was very friendly and welcomed us on arrival. The house was immaculate, spacious, cozy and beautifully decorated. It’s obvious that the owners put a lot of care into running this rental — no detail is missed. We enjoyed the location for a weekend of visiting the Monschau, Aachen, Merode Castle and Valkenburg Christmas markets. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Me and my son stayed there for the three days of the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix. We had to drive 50 kms per day each way so we only stayed at the property at night. We did not have the opportunity to meet our host, but communication by messages through booking.com was excellent. Everything was impecably clean, no traces of dogs previously being there. We got a welcoming note and 2 courtesy beers. We only used the Senseo coffe machine (coffee pads provided!) so we can't say about the cooking appliances but they seemed in very good condition. We saw Hellenthal from the car and it's a very beautiful little town.
I have been to the Eifel three times now, and this house is the best. Large, airy, comfortable beds, stunning views and great patio. Jacuzzi was an added bonus. The photos of the house don't do it justice.

Very complete, clean and comfortable. We’ve booked last minute for a short stay to see some more of Eifel where we were 2 months ago. Easy access, easy going.
