I truly loved my stay here. The staff are so friendly, patient & caring. The property is beautiful & the view from the balcony is breathtaking. The wifi & backup generators are very reliable even during storms (I was online a lot). And the breakfast is great. My initial reservation was for 2 nights & I added 3 more bc of how great & peaceful the stay was. If you need a ride while you’re there the property’s contact (Patricia) is reliable & so nice. *When pulling into the property there is an initial steep incline - make sure your driver is aware & agrees to it ahead of time so there’s no surprises. Or better yet just use Patricia as she has no issues at all with it, day or night!

This is the perfect getaway for a time spent in Paraty! Mr. Barbosa and Clarice are extremely welcoming and have exceptional hospitality; showing both enjoyable characters and knowledge to every thing we needed during our stay. The house and rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen amenities were sufficient for everything we wanted to cook. The neighborhood was very calm and quiet during the night, and it’s also in great proximity to all the nearby beaches! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Everything, from the great location just a short walk outside the cobblestone old town, the wonderful staff and the fabulous rooms, it was all perfect. A special shout out to Matteus and the young lady making breakfast for incredible service but the cleaning staff were top notch too. Matteus in particular spoke great English and gave me great recommendations and just in general made me feel super welcome. The rooms themselves had one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in, the shower was great and toiletries were great quality. Everything was super clean and tidy. The complimentary afternoon coffee and cakes from 5 to 7 was a particularly nice touch. The pool area was kept immaculately and the pool itself was very clean and inviting. Breakfast had a great selection of fresh fruit, ham, cheese, cakes and juice and the coffee was excellent. I had freshly made fried eggs each morning which was great. I wanted to stay forever.
