Daniel’s apartment was exceptionally clean and offered a breathtaking view right in the heart of the Swiss countryside. Its location is ideal—perfectly situated between Bern, Interlaken, Grindelwald, and other nearby destinations. The apartment is modern, fully equipped, and stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The yard is charming, with peaceful rabbits and a few other animals adding to the relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. It was incredible to sleep in a "stall" where the cows, calfs and pony are sleeping as well. The room was great and big enough to store some luggage. The bed was fun, it was a "hanging" bed which made it special. At night you hear some farm noises but ofcourse we were expacting that when you sleep in a farm. It is basic but it has everything you need. The bathroom was also very clean. There is a minibar, coffee and tea, you can even buy wine. We used the water boiler to cook in the evening. There are restaurants in the area, where you can walk to (2-3km) and even this walk is beautiful. You can see all kinds of farms and big gardens, fields, a lot of animals,... We chose to eat at the accomodation in the evening because we really loved the view and the atmosphere there. The view from your room is AMAZING.

If you ask us, overall, my spouse and I enjoyed our stay at this place. Upon arrival, we met the kind owner and his mother, who even offered us the option to stay inside their house or a room in the barn if the weather got too cold! The cleanliness of the tent and the bathroom was acceptable because, after all, we came for camping, not a 5-star hotel. Regarding heating, it wasn’t bad overall, as the mattresses had heaters and there was also a fan heater inside the tent. However, there were a few tears in the tent from which cold air seeped in. But since we had extra blankets and sleeping bags, it wasn’t a big issue for us. The location was amazing, with a breathtaking view. During our stay, we even saw some deer and a hawk flying overhead, which was a beautiful experience. Security was also excellent since the campsite was located in a village, and the surrounding neighbours were very friendly and welcoming. We travelled in an SUV with AWD, but if you're going with a regular car, you might face some challenges on the road. As for the price, I must say it was not good at all. The cost was equivalent to a good hotel, even during the High season. For a tent under these conditions, we felt we paid about two or three times its real value. Overall, it was a good experience, and we appreciate the hospitality of the owners.

The room is spacious and newly renovated, exuding a charming and cozy ambiance. It offers a delightful view of the serene lake, and for a truly unique experience, you can even reserve a bath with a view, allowing you to soak in relaxation while savoring the beautiful scenery.

Upon arrival the owner was there and gave us a tour of the house and explained its history. The house has a lot of atmosphere, is quirky and we kept discovering new things all the time. It's a very unique place. We had a great time and enjoyed having the fire on. The outside is very nice too and has a fire place as well. The location is excellent just a short walk into Thun.
