Hotels with Pools in La Alcaidesa

Everything was perfect Everyone was helpful

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Great! All through and through!

To preface this review, my trip to spain was 15 days driving from Barcelona to Sevilla, a total driving distance of 1200 miles. In that time I had the opportunity to stay at 10 different hotels across that area and I can confidently say, this was by far and away my favorite hotel. To start, the location. You're a bit in the middle of nowhere, but on the grounds of this stunning golf course. There's plenty of parking (which is also free) and if for some reason there's something that the hotel doesn't have that you want, in the same complex there's a market that has everything you could need. The hotel looks beautiful with a pool in the middle flanked by casita style rooms with their own outdoor seating areas. Unfortunately I was coming off of a day trip to Gibraltar where I walked up and down the rock and by the time I checked in it was a bit late and I was exhausted, drenched in sweat, and probably severely dehydrated so I didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool or loungers or any of the facilities. Next, I want to make a point to say that the gym setup that this hotel has is the coolest I've ever seen. It's a cargo container that they turned into a portable gym. There are barbells, squat racks, dumbbells, kettlebells, ropes and sandbags and it's all outdoors and looks amazing. Again, I was too tired to take advantage of it, but if you're someone who goes to the gym, this setup is more than enough to get a great workout in (perhaps before playing some golf?) The room I got was huge and clean and superbly comfortable. The design was modern but in a warm and inviting way as opposed to cold and generic. The king sized bed was soft and inviting and the AC worked like a dream, good when it's 84 degrees in October. I also want to give a shout out to the hotel restaurant which had a wonderful menu and was exception as well.

Excellent child care, and facilities. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. Good breakfast offering.

Very modern. Exceptional value

Great hotel at walking distance to the border with Gibraltar... We have leave our car in parking garage and walk to the border... Very friendly and all the best...

Awesome view, wonderful neighborhood

Spacious place, great views, very comfortable and quiet. We had a small unexpected problem during our stay and the host solved it in a fast and outstanding way. We were overall very pleased, and we'll definitely come back soon.

It is on a mountain high view is amazing. Very clean facility and provides all you need

My stay at Shanti’s apartment was amazing! The pictures don’t even do this accommodation justice, the view of the sea and the rock of Gibraltar are breathtaking. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was clean and amenities were modern. My stay at her apartment was for a short period during a two week vacation in Andalusia and I stayed in a few other places throughout while visiting the southern coast. In hindsight I would have booked for longer as my stay was so relaxing. The village has everything you need to be comfortable and the distance is perfect for a day trip to Gibraltar or other areas nearby. Shanti was very quick to respond and was flexible in ensuring that we were able to access the property after a delay caused us to arrive later than expected. Her hospitality was top notch, I definitely recommend :)
