Normally they ask you to pick up the key at the central hotel nearby, but in our case, the staff was very kind, they greeted us at our hotel door with all the check-in information and brought us the key. The room, bathroom, shower, bed, everything was great and very clean. Very good location close to restaurants and easy to walk around the city or go to the beach.

A gem of a small hotel with Lovely Moorish architecture. Great beds, relaxing terrace and gracious hosts. During the power blackout they made the guests an emergency meal gratis. Convenient to the Alcazaba and parking.

We were greeted by Emilio, the property manager, who was welcoming, friendly, and helpful! The apartment is beautifully designed and offers a spectacular view. It features a modern, well‑equipped kitchen with plenty of amenities, stylish décor throughout, and air‑conditioning/heating in every room. The living area includes a large TV and a comfortable sofa, and there’s a lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy the surroundings. The space is bright, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged — with the added bonus of Netflix already included. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with soft sheets and supportive pillows that made for a great night’s sleep. The apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom, located on the first floor, though you’ll need to climb two sets of stairs to reach it. There’s a pool on the property, but we didn’t use it during our January stay. A car is essential, as the location is peaceful and quite secluded — which also contributes to its relaxing atmosphere and stunning views. The drive up can feel a bit intimidating the first time, but it quickly becomes much easier once you’ve done it a couple of times. There was ample parking as well. We liked our stay so much that we extended it another 2 nights to spend more time exploring Cabo de Gata. Grocery stores are about a 10 min drive away.
