In one room in a basement, there was not only a bedroom, but also kitchen supplies, including a coffee machine, a kettle, a hob, etc. We were surprised with a box of snacks, which, after a long day driving, was a great deal. Also cold, filtrated water was waiting for us in a fridge. The shared bathroom was clean, and we could also find a sponge and liquid for washing dishes. Just if you plan to get to the beach, it is not recommended on foot, as there is no pavement at some point.

Charming, beautiful and opulent are just a few words to describe Villa Ghiringhelli. The photos really do not do it justice. Breath taking, panoramic views. The serenity is just magical. Although in a rural location, the villa is within easy reach of Penny's, a local supermarket and a fantastic takeaway/eat in Pizzeria (Torretta Pizza and Bakery) located on Via Piave. Unfortunately due to an early departure we id not get to sample the breakfast.

Villa Baroni is a restored 19th-century farmhouse located just 200 metres from the shores of Lake Varese. It offers Provence-style rooms with free Wi-Fi, along with an outdoor pool.
