Swell Shacks is the best place to stay in Mirissa! 🌴 It’s such a peaceful and detoxifying spot — perfect if you want to truly relax and destress. Their amenities are very modern and well thought out, and the breakfast they provided was amazing. The staff are so warm, kind, and hospitable, always making sure guests are comfortable. Honestly, I can’t say anything bad about this place — everything was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Mirissa!

Matara apparently is more for locals so it wasn’t over built or overcrowded, when we travel we prefer nature and tranquility so it was perfect. The beachside location of the hotel, the size of the room, the pool, the restaurant and being able to eat in front of the ocean all day. Friendly and accommodating staff. Close to everything

We tried a variety of dishes, each bursting with flavor and made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The chefs truly outdid themselves, and we looked forward to every meal. Furthermore, we found the value for money to be excellent. Considering the luxurious amenities, impeccable service, and stunning location, the price we paid felt like a steal. The property is amazing, feels like Maldives. The pool is huge and gorgeous to have a chilled day around it. We absolutely loved our stay here and fully relaxed. The owner and all the employees were very helpful. Thank you so much 💕

Amazing place! The best place to relax and enjoy the nature in a little paradise. The whole area is so nice and pretty - the pool is great, the rooms are modern with anti-mosquito nets over the bed. They have their own little beach but Polhena beach was very close. They also offered complimentary bikes to go to the restaurants, beach or town. Breakfast was great! There were also super cute little puppies who turned out to be great companions during our visit.

Very close to the city center and just across the street there is a lovely beach. The room was pretty large and spacious. The reception staff were very polite, and especially Shavina was super helpful in getting my room ready early.
