Loved everything about this place. Decor and styling was great. Wonderful breakfast. Unique indoor pool and modest gym. Historic building modernized for comfort. Very clean. Friendly staff and located in a great town. Could have stayed here longer.

I stayed for the New Year's Eve and I have only praise for my stay. Frederico and Claudia are Hosts with a capital "H" and if I ever go back to Gozo I will do my best to stay with them a bit longer. I felt very welcome and cared for. It also shows that they both truly care about what they are doing. An absolute gem - both the space and the people!

We cannot fault our stay, it was beautiful from start to finish! Such a quiet and calm location but a short drive to Victoria. The farmhouse was stunning, so beautiful and perfect for a family holiday! My grandchildren adored having their own pool and the view was amazing! Thankyou!

Very kind and hospitable hosts, always available though social networks, ready to help, good communication and clear and detailed directions about how to find the property. Flexible check-in time, just be sure to contact the hosts previously because they don't live at the property. Extremely nice, warm, cozy, comfortable and clean stone-walled room, equiped with enough facilities, comfortable large bed, clean and beautiful bathroom, more than enough clean towels, functioning TV set and A/C unit, large wardrobe, window with a view of the village, hills, a lighthouse and nearby basilica - the last mentioned is fascinating on its own. The room I stayed in was the only room on the 2nd floor, which gives even higher level of privacy and beauty. There is a pool in the yard, large refrigerator in the common rooms, very nice decorations. Place is very quiet and peaceful, so is the town of Gћarb. There is just about few hundred meters to the nearest bus stop and a convenience shop. The town is located in part of Gozo island such that one can easily walk to the hiking paths and cliffs of northern and western coast, mentioned basilica, some other major atractions, and even largest town on the island - Victoria in under an hour. Everything was as mentioned in the description, the property and the apartment even above expectations! Absolutely no complains.

Michael is a lovely host, very helpful, he helped me plan my days in Gozo, everything was fab, great breakfast and pool, definitely plan to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay. The place is peaceful, with all the facilities needed. Breakfast was very good. All family enjoyed the place so much.

The stay met our expectations, and the host was very helpful and responsive at all times. Also, Lighthouse Supermarket is right next to the property, which is very convenient.

I was only here for one night. Before booking I called Mood to check on night parking facilites for my motorcycle and on availability of gluten free options for breakfast as I am celiac. For parking the offering was an enclosed path/yard on the side of the building. This put the bike away from the street. I added a disklock alarm for additional safety and slept well knowing it was reasoanbly safe. In the morning Federico prepared GF bread, muffins and biscuits for me on a table away from the rest, thus avoiding contamination. This was greatly appreciated.

The location as an Artist. Peaceful and amongst the Gozitans. Swimming pool is nice.

The property was clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the spa facilities. The receptionist, Fanni, at the spa was welcoming and friendly.

Great location, amazing views and outdoor area. Clean and huge rooms . Might need some maintenance however on the whole I can rate it 9/10. Will definitely visit again, also very nice host.

Giovanna took very good care of us, so we felt like home. Very cosy and comfortable place, close to the Bus Terminal, so very easy to get around the island. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of warm cooked dishes of your choice.

The property is a true peaceful retreat in San Lawrenz, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Every aspect of the hotel is outstanding, from its beautiful design to the thoughtful attention to even the smallest details. Everything was impeccably maintained, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. We would highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

Pretty much everything - the staff are amazing, the facilities are one of a kind in Gozo, and it’s a perfect getaway for any couple. Would recommend a 100 times over.

I enjoyed my stay at Palazzo Castagna, I would gladly return. The former home has been tastefully renovated with an elegant palette and is a delight to the eye. My suite was spacious, very clean and neat as a pin. The air was fragranced with a light scent of bergamot, as it happens, is a favorite of mine. The bed and sheeting were a dream (pun intended) and I slept soundly. The owner and staff were kind, courteous and solution oriented. We tested the limits of solutions to address a problem with Booking.com. Many thanks again to Nirosha Tanti. A stunning hotel is only a building without lovely people that make the stay worthwhile and encourage others or a return trip.
