I really liked the hotel. They provided all the information at the reception, very courteous customer service. The breakfast was great, the live piano playing was incredible. We also used the spa, a nice small sauna, jacuzzi, well-kept pool. The shower in the room is great, spacious bathroom

Horácio was a great host. We stayed in the apartment…or rather very spacious home. It is newly renovated home that has been in the family for years. It was a great location 800 meters from the coastal walks (also Camino routes). We only had two days, but would like to return for a full week.

What a perfect apt that feels like home. The kids LOVED the pool and we as parents loved the blackout shades to help them sleep and recover from jetlag. The home has everything you need, including a washer for clothes. Location is great for going between different towns but not walkable to anything of note. Parking spot included which is very helpful. Wonderful host!

And the first time to make real use of the spacious, well thought out, modern kitchen available to guests. 2 ovens, 2 stoves, 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators, toaster and coffee makers. Such a beautiful place, with friendly thoughtful hosts, and lovely buildings with decor that perfectly matched their antiquity and character. Honestly, the nicest stay I have had through booking.com and I have had many dozens. The dinner we had there was both delicious and beautiful - the table setting looked like a painting, there was lots of food and it was freshly prepared and very tasty and imaginative. The pool was lovely, with a dark blue pool interior, velvety water and a nice outlook. The terraced garden is informal and dotted with statuary and has views from the top and shady places to sit. The proprietors give us a sense of the history of the place, which is on the Portuguese Camino route. From a practical point of view, the supermarket was 850 yards away, and an uber to central Viana was about 4 euros.

Beautiful, peaceful.place with the kindest of owners making guests feel welcome and at ease. They provided also a good brief overview of useful places nearby. They clearly have a very good reputation also in town. I liked connecting with the owners and staff. As for my last days in Portugal this summer, they made it sound again: solo travel is about making new connections. Well recommended if this resonates with you as the reader of this review.
